I got a shell for my wiimote for 10€ during summer. It's kinda crappy and made of such (thankfully) cheap plastic that the wiimote just grinds it down a bit before snapping to place. It's also front heavy and tires me easily. On the other hand it has an amazing grip and I can easily hold it 2 handed (too bad I can't use it to play Resident Evil 4 and such).
So what I've been doing is sawing down some parts to make the wiimote easier to place/remove and I'm thinking of placing some weights in the handle to make it more stable. What do you think, am I wasting money and should just get a better one?
It's from some brand called Playtoys. I know they make a lot of peripherals but I can't find their website for some reason.
I have the Perfect Shot and the Link gun. I think the Perfect Shot is a hair more accurate and a bit more comfortable during long sessions, but Link's gun in better if you're also using the nunchuk.
I like the Perfect Shot the best, great for HotD:Overkill. Except i need to like sand down or file something on the trigger-lever mechanism, because now the plastic pieces grind against each other and produce a very irritating high pitch SQUINK every time you pull the trigger.
