Topic: Button b not responding

I have just set up our wii after quite a few years.

When playing games the b button on both remotes won't work . So when playing the bowling game the ball won't release. Same with other games. I have reset the sensitivity changed batteries and recalibrate the remotes to the wii using the red button.

Don't thknk it's the remotes that's the problem.

Anyone had similar problem. Was thinking of getting a new sensor bar

@charlesworth A new sensor bar won't have any effect. All the sensor bar contains is two lights that the Wii remote senses.
I think that it might be the Wii remotes, but it does seem strange that that happened to both of them. Does the b button not work anywhere, not even in menus?

If playing the bowling I swing my arm and release b button and the ball just drops. Can't play any of the other games as same.

I'm thinking now that's its not the b button that's the problem but it's not recognising the swinging action of the remote. But strange on both remotes
