Topic: Are the rumors true?

is Apple, the makers of ipod, going to start making their game consoles. i've heard it many places but i want to know for real. if you know tell me.

Whose game consoles? Ipods are the closest thing to game consoles Apple has as far as I know, are you asking if they are going to make ipods more of a game console?

i know you know what i mean ravage but i mean real consoles like wii or xbox

Nope no plans announced, no announcements, nothing. Just stupid rumors that confuse the young.

Not sure to the legitimacy of this but this is what I found.

They've done it before. Failed miserably, of course, but they've still done it. I doubt that they will do it again, but they are a bigger name now, so who knows?

I have an idea for a good exclusive that can be on this new console! We take an old man, most likely Italian and has a job as a plumber, and make him go crazy with large overdoses on Mushrooms! Then he'll imagine that he stomping on creatures called Koopas and Goombas and must save the Princess of Hyrule, her name should be.....Felza, and carries the Triforce of Sammiches. What other original ideas can I come up with?

...and Pokemanz should be in the game...

I heard this rumor at least a year ago, but it was only a rumor. They might be doing research into it, but who knows, Apple is always surprising people.

This is just like the rumor that Nintendo was going to make Home Computers

I did not, the wording was kind of funny. Anyway, they may have a bigger name, but they aren't going to just jump in. It would be foolish. They would be smart to start with portable markets, as they are already well known for mobile devices.

Apple failed with the Pippin. They wouldn't go near the gaming market with a 10-foot pole. However, since they've seen how much 3D party game development on the iPhone, they might release a home entertainment system that does everything......while you sit on your lazy butt.

Maybe they will, but I dont know how many people would flock to the system. I wouldnt at first but if it had good enough titles I might would buy after the release.

I'll likely be getting an Apple game console next month called the Mac Mini. It will have a great music player called iTunes, an arcade emulator called SDLMAME with dozens of arcade classics not available on any console, and Atari 2600 and 5200 games courtesy of Atari800XL and Stella OS X!

No one had proved anything about Apple making an actual system. And I don't think they'll get on it any time soon, given that they're making craploads of money off of ipod games.

It was a Apple design and Bandai made.

This would be an interesting experiment for Apple, but their computers are too B.A. for it to happen.
