Topic: Anybody picking up Rayman Origins?

I have never played a Rayman game in my life but this one looks too good to pass up.
I love me some 2-D platformers! This will go nicely with my Wario Land Shake it, DKC returns and Kirby's return to Dream land!
Rayman Origins is getting glowing reviews so It's definitely going on my must have list!

Ive read 2 reviews with a score of 9.5 so its definitely on my radar. I think imma wait for the 3ds version though.

I liked the Rayman series but now I'm more into other games. I've played the original Rayman on PC, went through Rayman 2 (PC) and Rayman 3 (2D version when I had my Nokia N-Gage ) but after that I've not touched these games for a while.

Is the one on Dsiware any good?

I want this game, but would rather play it on and HD console someday where A) it would look gorgeous and B) it would be on a platform that doesn't have a done of great co-op platformers.

I enjoy me a good platformer, and while it wasn't on my radar before the NP review (it got a 9.5 in the same issue that gave SM3DL a 9.0!), I'm definitely getting it at some point. I'll have to see how the 3DS version pans out; I may just get it and either the PS3 or Wii version!

I won't get it near release but I'll pick up the Wii version at some point, this game looks awesome! I'm going with the Wii version over the 3DS version for the co-op.

I'll have to wait until I'm back from Australia, but hells yeah I'm picking this up. Loved the pre-Rabbids Raymans, this looks gorgeous, and Ancel was heading the helm!

If it wasn't for Zelda I would be picking it up right now, but oh well.

I'm going to wait and pick up the Vita version.

Thought it would be coming out at the same time as the others, but IGN has it under TBA, and dunno bout this site. (actually, I think I couldn't even find it under games. o_0)

I hated the trailers I saw of it, but after playing the demo on the PS3, it's pretty much required for me to pick it up. Now I just need to figure out what version to get...

I downloaded the demo on my PS3 last night and I got to say, it's pretty amazing. The artstyle they went with is a nice throwback to past platforming games. The controllers are great, they also included Co-op with up to 4 people. And one of the biggest pluses to this game, it's actually challenging (Compared to the likes of Kirby's epic yarn and NSMBW) Which I find a big plus.

of course, I wont be buying it anytime soon, already have enough platformers to keep me going for awhile.
