@Adamant-So,I need to grow up because I bashed a horrible game that should have never existed?
Disregarding the fact that we all know you haven't played it, yes, It's not intended for you, and if kids find it entertaining, then it's done it's job well. What, do you also walk into toy stores to complain about all the Lego sets that "are really boring to play with compared to Mario galaxy and should never have been made"?
Here, let me spell it out for you: It's not for you, it's for kids. It should not be judged on it's entertainment value to you personally, but to kids. If the kids like it, it's a good release. You are bashing a childs' toy because you personally don't think you personally would enjoy playing with it. Do you not see what's wrong with that?
@Adamant-But the truth is,WOULD kids really enjoy this?
I mean come on,more people are going to rent this game then buy it. You know why? Because a kid's birthday only comes around once a year. Most adults will find it cheaper just to rent the game around the kid's birthday, rather then buying it. To me,a kid will have more fun having a REAL birthday party without this game. You also called Birthday Party Bash (It's My Birthday) a child's toy. It is not a toy,it is a kind of video game that I liked to call shovelware. 2K Games could have made something good like Grand Theft Auto Wii,or Bioshock Wii. But,we get a useless game that kids might like for one day and then forget about it for the rest of their lives.

...instead of a game kids wouldn't have liked at all. Brilliant idea. "Oh no, someone made a game aimed at someone who isn't me! They suck!"

The point is it sucks. I know children, you know the people it's targeted at, and they hate it too. Grow up.
@Adamant-I know this, that when I was a kid I would have never played this if it existed back then. Would you played it if this game existed when you were a kid?
Besides, the only kids who would be possibly intrested in this game are 4-7 year old kids who have hardly played video games. The older kids would DEFINETLY be not intrested in this. I have grown up and I have not insulted you one bit,but you continually feel a need to insult me for some reason. If this game is so brilliant, how come the Nintendo Life staff have not review this game yet? I bet they even this game is horrible.
This is an interesting topic, and I do see why it's worth discussing. Agreed, Super Sonic is not its target audience, but remove that from the equation and we are left with a game we expected to stink getting an admirably high score from a gaming site. I can understand why someone would want to discuss that.
We all have our different opinions on the game, and that's awesome. I've enjoyed hearing people on both sides of the debate speak about it.
However, please don't let this topic degrade into "Grow up!" / "No, you grow up!" sniping. Whatever you may think of the game, or the review, there are better ways to discuss it.

Grow up.
You know the grow up thing is getting really annoying.

That's the basic gist of what I said in post #33, which I notice went COMPLETELY ignored. So I guess what we're saying is that this game is aimed at non-gamer kids (in which case how do they even have a Wii to run it on?) who somehow don't realize that all these events would be more fun in real life. Great...
