So, since Pro has replaced the original flat CC, and I'm one of those nosatlgic weirdos who likes the flat version better (that and there's the issue with Pro's loose D-Pad and Sticks I've so far been unable to escape) I've been looking at this: -
It's a 3rd party clone of the flat Classic made by some company named Intec. I keep seeing these things on Ebay and apparently they sold them in Wal-Mart at some point as they were listed there when I google searched the product name. Does anyone else have one of these and is it any good? The d-pad looks kinda like the one that was on the old SNES controller. Plus the sticks seem to have more "ribbing" on the tops.
Why not just buy the old version of the CC. They still sell em' you know. That pad looks OK. I like the idea of the rubber grips, the official CC is a bit like a bar of soap but I still always use official controllers myself. Have you tried looking for reviews on that one?
As Luigi said, the original version of the CC is still being sold, so pick up one of those...
"Don't make enemies, they'll stab your heart; don't make friends, they'll stab your back. Including me, including you, all men are trash. Don't love; don't be loved. Have nothing to do with other; live in isolation."
I have that controller... just cause it was $6 total on ebay. I only play SMW and Do Re Mi... so I can't really comment on the dual sticks. The d-pad works good enough, and the grips are helpfully. If you are really concerned with how good the controller works, don't buy a cheap one. If you just want a controller to play games that can't use the wii-mote, then go with the cheap one.
