So I got all excited the other day because combined me and a friend now have 4 WiiMotes with Wii Motion Plus. But then I thought "does that really change anything?"
I can't think of a single game where having four vs. just two would make any difference besides not having to hand off the controller between turns, its not like we could have a 2on2 table tennis match or 4 player vs swordfight. Canoeing doesn't count, because it's not fun.
Am I missing something? Is there a game out there for 4 Wii Motion Plus? I know Red Steel 2 doesn't support multiplayer.
Hmm good point. Zangeki No Reginliev allows 4 players and motion plus..... but it's not released here.
I actually never thought about that.... Conduit 2 might have support though with 4 player splitscreen!

grand slam tennis nhl2k10? but yeah, more motion plus games would be greatly appreaciated and some more multiplayer titles would not hurt either.
Yeah, NHL 2K10 is one, and it's gotten great reviews.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
The Conduit 2 with WM+ Support? What for? There's no point in a shooter.
Just so if you point of screen you continue turning rather than jittering, it's no neccessary and they said it will be optional.

I only have two Wiimotes, and that's worked out fine for me as well, even with larger groups.
I'm fine with it, that's an extra $40 (or an extra $20 if there were four bundled games I wanted to buy with WM+) I don't have to spend. I certainly wouldn't have an issue with having more WM+ games to justify what I've already spent though.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
I only have the two attachments and I don't really see the need for four - besides my lounge isn't big enough to have four people swinging their arms around like that!
As a completionist I feel like I have to get the "whole set" of Wii Remotes - White, Black, Blue, Pink. But yeah, definitely don't want to be spending extra on the Motion plus if the games aren't there to support it!
Perhaps I'm still holding on to my childhood days where Nintendo games were known for their local 4 player split-screen. Now it seems that every game is played online, or in each-player-has-a-seperate-turn mini-game. Whatever happened to 4 players going against each other in the same room? Perhaps Sean's point about people swinging their arms around at the same time is a safety concern for most game developers.
What does NHL 2K10 use Motion plus for? Its great? I googled it and some people are saying they prefer to play without it.

It's used for shot power. Instead of holding a button while shooting for a wrist shot instead of a slap shot, you can decide exactly how much power to put into the shot by how much you swing the Wiimote.
By the way, cursor passing is also a great control mechanism. You can also use button passing, but do not use flick passing.
