10 in 2010: Most-Wanted NES Games on VC - Wii, WiiWare & Virtual Console Forum

I often see "most wanted" lists on the forums here. With a new year nearly upon us, it got me to thinking what specific games I most want to see for every system. I'm also curious what everyone else is eager to see released on Virtual Console. For the sake of argument, I'm omitting licensed games (i.e., NFL, movies, etc.) and other titles that have absolutely no chance of ever seeing the light of Wii. I'll start with the NES, and ten games I sincerely hope to see published on VC in the coming year: 1. Crystalis (if they only put out one VC game ever again, PLEASE let it be Crystalis!!!) 2. Bionic Commando 3. Joust 4. King's Quest V 5. Legacy of the Wizard 6. Mega Man IV 7. Mega Man V 8. Mega Man VI 9. Shadowgate 10. P.O.W.: Prisoners of War What do you think?

Why do so many people want the Mega Man games? There is this title for the GCN called the Mega Man Anv Coll, ever heard?

Here's the ones I want for NES:
Earthbound
Dragon Warrior II
Dragon Warrior III
Dravon Warrior IV

Though above all else, I want SNES Star Fox

I would make Dragon Warrior #1 on my list! It was such a good blend of Zelda and Final Fantasy.

We want Mega Man titles because the Anniversary set has ass-backwards controls and playing the games with the wii remote is more like playing it on the NES and playing with the GC controller is like playing a ROM hack online. It's a more authentic experience.

Meat Gear (NES)
Track 'n Field 2 (NES)
Gun Smoke (NES)
Duck Hunt (NES)
Prince of Persia (NES/SNES)
Final Fantasy (NES)(Seems like that wish will come true as it has been released in JPN and US)
Nintedo World Cup (NES)
Rambo III (C64)
Goonies 2 (NES)

And why not games from other consoles, Gameboy and Amiga would be nice

no baseball stars fans? to this day, that's the best baseball game i've played. RBI would be cool, too.

Mega Man's 4,5 and 6.

I remember Americans didn't get part 1 and 2 until Mega Man 9 was released, so they should release at least one of those missing games to commemorate Mega Man 10.
