I often see "most wanted" lists on the forums here. With a new year nearly upon us, it got me to thinking what specific games I most want to see for every system. I'm also curious what everyone else is eager to see released on Virtual Console.
For the sake of argument, I'm omitting licensed games (i.e., NFL, movies, etc.) and other titles that have absolutely no chance of ever seeing the light of Wii.
I'll start with the NES, and ten games I sincerely hope to see published on VC in the coming year:
1. Crystalis (if they only put out one VC game ever again, PLEASE let it be Crystalis!!!) 2. Bionic Commando 3. Joust 4. King's Quest V 5. Legacy of the Wizard 6. Mega Man IV 7. Mega Man V 8. Mega Man VI 9. Shadowgate 10. P.O.W.: Prisoners of War

Metal Gear- though I know it will never happen Bionic Commando Robo Warrior Kings of the Beach Hogans Alley- only if it had wiimote/zapper support somehow.
micro machines. kung-fu (although the arcade version would be good) dizzy egg (i cant remember the proper title. it`s done by codemasters) gremlins 2 (this will probably never get a vc release)
Metal Gear? It was the MSX version. The MSX is only offered on VC in Japan. They could offer the NES, but I hear Kojima doesn't consider it a worthy port, to put it politely. (though it wouldn't be impossible to offer Metal Gear, as there's an EU version. I hear MG1 and 2 were also offered in MG3S. Haven't played, so I'm not sure if it's something they could port? (MG2 was otherwise not officially released in English.)
Anything made by Sunsoft, SNK, Irem, Hudsonsoft, or Compile. In particular I'd like to see Journey To Silius, Crystalis, Metal Storm, Faxanadu, and Gun Nac. And of course everything made by Capcom and Konami. And Battle Toads.
