Topic: Yarn Yoshi hasn't been shown (again) because...

I see no reason to believe this. None at all. Unless you think SMTxFE has also been scrapped and that Good Feel and Atlus are sitting around doing nothing.

I don't think people realize just how hard it is to throw out a game in development. It's not as simple as hitting the delete button. Developers grow emotional attachments to their projects. Scrapping it would be an absolute last resort, and one that we should neither expect nor request from the developers at Good Feel.

I was thinking that too. They'd shown it off too soon and they don't want to put all their eggs in one basket at one time.

Maybe they haven't shown it, because they don't feel it is ready to show? The stuff the showed us was very cool looking, but vague.

It seems like the most logical reason.

At least it has gameplay trailers unlike cough SMT x FE cough.

Never played neither a SMT or FE, but oh man i cant wait for more.

I hope it was shown too early and that it gets to see the light of day.

The Last Guardian has more E3s where nothing has been shown under its belt, anyway.

The game is coming, mark my words. They showed brief footage because there was an outrage at the time. Gamers were freaking out over not knowing what was coming to Wii U. There was a drought, and people were upset. So Nintendo gave us a sneak peak at some of the games they're working on. As always, Nintendo will show more when it's ready to be shown, likely when it's a few months from release. I'd bet my bottom dollar they announce a release month this E3.

This will end up being the Year of Yoshi. We already got Yoshi's New Island, a limited edition Yoshi 3DS, Yoshi NES is available on Club Nintendo for 200 coins, and they're probably going to finish it off with a Yarn Yoshi Oct/Nov release announced at E3. Trust me, they're not going to show us games only to cancel them. Any time Nintendo cancels a game, they never told us about it in the first place...

Most likely 2, but I honestly wouldn't mind if it was canceled. With DK, Kirby and Yoshi 3ds all releasing this year, not to mention the eshop platformers like shovel knight, I'm kinda tired of 2d platformers and wanna see Nintendo work on something else. Where's my HD Starfox/Metroid/Kid Icarus game Nintendo
