yea it sucks.

Wii U future of gaming.

Well the next Dragon Age game is only on Xbox One and PS4, so I would assume the next Mass Effect will be too if there is a sequel.

EA doesn't hate the big N so much as they don't like not seeing profit from their projects. I doubt Wii U would be powerful enough for it either.

Not played Mass Effect, but isn't the Mass Effect trilogy over? (Like Mother)

@8BitSamurai Expect of them to keep releasing It. until the game can't print money.

well, if it doesn't, it will be unplayable to me. I tried to play Mass Effect 3 without the map on the GamePad and it was horrible.

To be honest I'd kill for a free to play version of Mass Effect 3's multiplayer.

I doubt it.

As for the series, the 'trilogy' is over. But it's a rich universe to draw from, somewhere in the league of Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. In that sense, there are infinite stories to tell, execution aside.

Considering the poor sales of all of EAs games on the Wii U, combined with the presumably large difference in power between the Wii U and the other systems coming soon (at least according to Ubisoft and other developers) the chances are pretty much zero.

If you want to get all the top-tier 3rd party games in the next several years, you should probably invest in a PS4 or Xbox One. It's unfortunate, since off-TV play really is fantastic, but what is there to do?

Off tv play is probably a great thing, and standard in the future. I can take it or leave it, and have no pressing desire to have it, however. It's just not the lightning in a bottle fad craze currently, like motion controls were. It will probably be a slow, steady latching on, which is better long run than a momentary fad.

It will not be for Wii U. Who would want it anyway? They'll probably charge up to $100 for a full game...

Get a PS4 and Vita, so you can still have off-TV play with those games.
