Everyone was saying the exact same thing when Xbox 360 and PS3 came out. Replace the 'Wii U' part of that comic with 'PS3/Xbox 360', and go back in time to 2005 for Xbox 360, and 2006 for PS3 and even Wii.

You are jumping the gun. Mega Man won't be released on the Wii-U VC until mid-2015.

Doesn't change the fact that there are very few games out yet for the Wii U. I myself am very exacting when it comes to certain games. At the moment, I only have Monster Hunter Tri, Mighty Switch Force, F-Zero and Punch-Out. All of these games are available (to some extent) on the Wii.

No one is talking about launch games. We are talking about Nintendo releasing a handful of VC games this week that are utter garbage, and VERY underwhelming. Aside from what is already available for the Wii-VC we are getting Donkey Kong, Excitebike, Ice Climbers and Super Mario World (the only good one). That's all?? Nothing more exciting than that?

While Zelda and Smash Bros. won't be this year and Pokemon is on 3DS, the Wii U still has a lot of titles coming this year. Possible 3D Mario, Mario Kart, The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, Game & Wario, Bayonetta 2(possibly this year), Rayman, Watch_Dogs, Destiny(Possibly, I hope so), Resident Evil, Splinter Cell, Batman Arkham Origins, Sniper Elite V2, Yarn Yoshi(Possibly) and Wind Waker. That is all that I could think of
