Topic: Wii U launch discussion

ok so since i havent seen any post like this i thought i make one if its in the wrong place let me know =/

but i was hoping we could all talk about the wii u experience from launch day going to pick it up how it went and stuff like how long did you have to wait in line? getting home and setting the console up and trying out the features which ones you like and which you dont... what games you trying or if your going to wait till the holiday to open it etc etc so its like the big community sharing the adventure of that day... cheesy much? xD

a bit early but good idea im in uk so not out until the 30th so you americans better give me some good details

No one will be here after they get a Wii U. They will all be on Miiverse.

It may be days before most people would reply as they will be too busy on the Wii U.

I'll share my thoughts... if I can pull myself away from my new Wii U.

OMG, the menu music leaked.

I'm camping on Friday for the game, hoping I can get my hands on one. Mostly because where I live everyone pre ordered in a matter of hours.

aww but come on guys we could multitask with the wii u browser right thats how we could comment

that really the menu music? cuz it sounds more zelda themed to me

Wow. the Mii Maker music sounds gorgeous. Sounds like it could come right out of a Zelda game, especially around 0:30.

Slightly more on topic: I'm looking for a new TV as well, could you please tell me why I'm better of buying a Panasonic?

Surely there's gonna be a slightly washed-out color or a flicky gamma reproduction and a dead pixel that just drives you insane because thats the only thing you can focus on haha!

I think it's a great idea to share the Wii U experience on Nov.18th!!! I will be here to chime in on my experiences. I will play for brief sessions and report in lol!

@Nitendnut That's a good idea. I may not be able to post my experience's on launch day due to the Wii U being shipped to my house.

The Mii Maker music reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy Hopefully I will get a chance to share my experience but im sure that I wont get a chance because Ill be to busy with my Wii U

To those who aren't getting it at launch: no news will probably be good news. People having fun with the system will have much less reason to chat on forums. People who dislike it will, of course, have more time to complain about it. So I take it the initial impressions you hear will not include the opinions of the very satisfied, you'll have to wait until they are past their initial hyped obsession and are ready to talk.
