Topic: Wii U event september 13 will spill the beans.

You can never tell with them though.. They announced the 3DS XL on a Nintendo Direct instead of E3, they're very weird and unpredictable. It's a little annoying.

But yeah, september 13!

Hoping Wii U is $300-$350. If it is $300, I can get ONE game at launch. If it is $350, no games for me. If a miracle happens and it is $250, I can get TWO games at launch.

Any idea what time on the 13th the announcement is going to start?

I haven't heard anything on that yet. Hopefully they'll tell us soon!

It's probably already been said, but how will we see it? Will it be broadcast like the Nintendo Directs? Will NintendoLife just tell us the next day? Will it be on TV or Nintendo's website?

So in a few days, Nintendo will let me know whether the Wii U is worth buying or an abomination? Good to know.

Still think it will be a great event either way. Just as long as the wii U doesn't get delayed like the 3DS did (If you don't remember Miyamoto wanted the 3DS originally to come out in 2010 but delayed it because of lack of games), it will be fine.

price drops and future releases (such as, I dunno, Zelda/3D Mario?) would probably affect a decision to buy it later on.

I don't want Zelda to be announced now. I want the Wii U to go to the next E3 and launch Zelda Wii U immediately (about a month) after the E3 conference. That way, hype and anticipation will be through the ceiling. And other "game journalists" won't say nothing wowed them at E3 during Nintendo's showing. Freakin' XPlay people...

For those who asked - the invitation I saw said the conference was 10:00 - 4:00 w/ check in beginning at 9AM. It's in NYC so that's eastern time I'm assuming. I can't imagine this would be streamed as it' s6 hours long, though I'ld guess an hour or 2 presentation and then a lot of hands on or Q&A that wouldn't need to be streamed.

Anybody from NL going to be there covering this?

Ugh, I just wish it was Thursday already. And do we still not know when or how it will start? It would be nice to find out what time it comes on and whether or not there will be live feed.

Judging by the lack of info for the general public I would guess this will be a exclusive press event.. We'll probably have to wait until after it's done to get info from all the news sites.

Hmm, if this is as an important press conference as we all think (and hope) it is, wouldn't it make sense to have live coverage for all to see? Just saying...

I mean, they might think that the news sites will do a better job of delivering all the information out to the public rather than a press conference containing a lot of information all at once.

I'd love a Live Stream personally, cause I agree. if it's indeed important, the big Nintendo fans should get to watch it as well. Feels like we should have gotten information about it by now if that was the case though..
