There are two Wii U games that I would highly recommend at this point. Resident Evil Revelations and Pikmin 3. I had a great time with both. New Super Mario Bros U is a fantastic game too, but it did feel a little stale to me.

I just ordered Resident Evil on my 3ds- just got my 3ds and it sounded like it was good on that too......

The 3DS version is said to be the best (as it should be since it was originally built for that system).

I have to recommend Pikmin 3. It's a beautiful, fun exclusive.

I was thinking of buying Monster Hunter U now that it is 50% off. Wii U or 3DS version?

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Wii U version has better gameplay, better graphics and online multiplayer. Your choice.

Get the Wii U version. Online multiplayer is so nice to have, kind of a shame it isn't in the 3DS version, considering MH4 has online multiplayer.

Well i recommend mh3u and for multiplayer when u got people around u more often nsmbu.

And we shouldnt forget DARKSIDERS 2 also i didnt play the first one it got me banned before the console for quite some time. I think it gets kina to less spotlight. Really great game and sad thet there wont be another game of this series

That remains to be seen. Swedish company Nordic Games did acquire the rights, however they are (contrary to popular belief outside of Sweden) not a actual game developer or publisher - so they only hold the rights and problably are looking to license the rights out to another company that are willing to put the dimes out. Hopefully someone will will see opportunity there, at least the franchise is not entirely dead because of this.

Good exclusives: Picmin, Wonderful 101 and Sonic allstar racing transformed, all really worth your time. Never played Wind Waker before? Must have despite it being overpriced.
And depending on where you're coming from and might never played these (crossplattform)games, I'd say Arkham City and ME3, add MH3U to the pile

Would recommend Rayman Legends to EVERYONE, alongside Zombi U and NintendoLand it has by far the greatest implementation of Wii U functionality. It is one of the most creatively designed and themed games.
It is also the most fun multiplayer game this side of Smash Bros.

So, Sonic Lost World or Batman Arkham Origins? I plan to own both later but can only get 1 now.

That's a toughie. I've only read reviews of Arkham Origins, but they all seem to agree that it's a step down from the previous games. Same with Sonic, though neither games have been outright panned. Both games seem to be best enjoyed by fans of the series, so I guess what it comes down to is what do you enjoy more: Sonic or Batman?

I got Batman, mostly so I could talk about it with coworkers but I plan on getting Sonic later as I love platformers

Just picked up Deus Ex: Human Revolution: Director's Cut, I've never played a game in this series. I'm still somewhere in the beginning, but it seems fun so far. Planning on getting Sonic Lost World tomorrow for my birthday.

Quite charming but didn't really do it for me in the end, what games do you own/like so far?

So far I have pikmin 3, ww HD, sonic lost world and rayman legends, any other particular titles you would recommend? I like a huge range of genres, so don't worry about that

Then we're on the same page pretty much, I'd go with Wonderful 101 first(even if you tried the demo and didn't like it) and perhaps Arkham City? That'll keep you afloat until SM3dW and AC4(which I do believe will be great on Wii U) are out.

Edit: oh and Sonic Allstars Racing if you haven't gotten that one yet, in my top 3 of Wii U-games so far. Beautiful and great fun!

Yeah TW 101 is some crazy action indeed, ever given Monster Hunter a fair try? After you get into it(might take quite a while) it's really a great game and worth playing for sure, MH online they say is sweet too.

And as a final sidenote: I quite like Zen Pinball and Giana Sisters and consider them both well worth checking out!
