Since we have the thread for smash bros sequel. Decided to make a game on what titles do you do think we will see at the launch or even announced at the e3 confrence.

No More Heroes 3 was announced for Wii U?
Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

Nintendo won't make the same mistake they did with the 3DS: There will be a Zelda or Mario on launch. That much is a virtual guarentee. Probably Mario since zelda takes so long to work on, then again, they did choose zelda to demo the Wii u and not mario, so who knows?...

In an interview with him not long after the announcement, he was asked if he would still do this and he said that he would so NMH3 is definitely coming to the wii U. Unfortunately, it sounds like Travis won't be the main character though as Suda said that Travis' story is finished which surprised me because the ending of the sequel seemed to be hinting at the next game in the series.

The Gamecube had a pretty good launch line-up with Luigi's mansion and Sonic adventure 2 battle and so did the DS with Super Mario 64 DS and Warioware: touched.
But seriously, a metroid game maybe? A mario game obviously, mario galaxy 3 probably but hopefully Nintendo does something outside the box like make a realistic mario game or something. Zelda HD and Nintendo needs a first party FPS or a system exclusive, wouldn't be surprised if they made that happen.
Arkham City and Darsiders II are already confirmed for the Wii U's launch, with Killer Freaks, Ghost Recon, Ninja Gaiden 3, Dirt, LEGO City Stories and Aliens: Colonial Marines all rumored.
It's the same old song and dance for Nintendo, isn't it? If they release a Mario or Zelda game at launch, people will moan about the fact that Nintendo love to milk their franchises; and if they release something original (like Steel Diver on 3DS), people will moan about the fact that there will be nothing to play.
If I tried to predict the future, I would say that neither Mario nor Zelda would be likely for the Wii U launch. There hasn't been any word on a new Wii U Mario title; and I seriously doubt that Nintendo would reveal a new installment AND release it within a year's time (though, admittedly, this has been their current trend as of late). I mean, can you imagine Nintendo revealing Super Mario Universe at E3 2012 before announcing that it would be available in six months' time as a launch title? I'll gladly eat one of my many hats if it does! As for Zelda, Aonuma and Miyamoto have their hands full with Skyward Sword, Four Swords AND Zelda 3DS (Aonuma practically confirmed the 3DS title in the new Game Informer). I don't think the Zelda Wii U demo at E3 will magically turn into a full game available to the public within 12 months.
In my opinion, I think Nintendo will wheel out one of their other big IPs to represent their 'big' Wii U launch title. Would PIKMIN 3 fit that bill? I mean, no offense to PIKMIN fans, but it doesn't exactly scream 'blockbuster launch title' (even though PIKMIN games ARE awesome). I think Nintendo would (should?) release PIKMIN 3 at launch alongside a 'bigger' game from one of their more well-known series, such as Metroid or F-Zero.
If it were up to me though...I would release the long-overdue, epic Mario/Sonic crossover adventure game. Imagine all the awesome things they could do with the different gameplay styles, along with the Wii U controller!
