So far on the Wii U we have just a small taste of what the GamePad can do.
we have yet to see anything truly substantial. something mind blowing.
Does anyone have any ideas for the use of the GamePad in games?
I'd like to see it incorporated in new and creative ways, and would love to speculate.

For a first person shooter, you could use the left joystick to move, right joystick to look around and use the gyro sensor to aim. This way, you could separate aiming from turning, because in real life, the two do not necessarily go hand in hand like they do with DA controls.
Someone mentioned this on another site but imagine, if you will, "Player one pilots the Millennium Falcon, tells player two not to get to cocky and player two proceeds to use the game pad as a turret and blows away tie fighters." Ideally it would use gyroscope functions to simulate the movements of the turret in 3D space surrounding player 2. I didn't come up with that one myself but when I saw it I thought that I would want to play that Star Wars game for sure.
that is a great idea actually, kudos to the guy who thought it up.
one player is piloting and the other with the gamepad is in the turret.
things along those lines would be a great way to play co-op.
