This thread is for those who have yet to get a Wii U like myself so if you already have one, don't mention it here. Just explain you're story of how or why you can't get the Wii U. For me its simple. The system isn't out yet in Dubai and even then my dad wasn't able to do so. Secondly, there wasn't a game until 3D world that made me want to get the Wii U so that's why I'm waiting.
I also hope that there will be another price drop and hoping I get the system eventually.........
In the year it's been out the only game that really interests me is Super Mario 3D World. Simply put, Nintendo has been slow with the first party games. Whatever the reason for that, whether the company was unprepared for HD development or whatever, doesn't matter now as it appears 2014 will change things so I plan to finally get the system probably around the summer time to sit alongside my PS4. I'll admit as much as I like Nintendo games, I also need a lot of good third party content since most of my favorite games are from those outside developers. If the third party support were a little better on the Wii U I'd probably have the console by now but it is what it is. 3DS has more than provided me with my Nintendo fix, fortunately.
Bought a Vita instead earlier in the year, because I thought I would get more money for Christmas than I did. Don't get me wrong, the Vita is fantastic, but if I could go back in time I would of gotten a Wii U first.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Lack of games. I have a PS4 for future multiplats, and I'm not partial to Nintendo games over other developers. Plus a lot of first party franchises (Mario Kart, 3D Mario, Zelda, Smash Bros, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Donkey Kong, Kid Icarus, Mario RPG) are well represented on the 3DS, which I already have.
The only reason I would buy one is if they have a solid library of exclusive third party games and a wide array of first party games with experiences that haven't been replicated on the 3DS.
Between my PC, Wii, DS, and PS3, I have so many games I need to complete and want to get. Nintendo is still my number one company for games though, so eventually I may pick a Wii U up.

I don't like home consoles.
Reasons why:
Too expensive.
Games are too expensive as well.
I don't have wifi at home.
Not enough games i'm interested in.
ACTUALLY, the only game on the wii U that sparked some interest in me was Watch Dogs. But that's one game.
Now, if GTA were to come to wii u, I'd have to pick one up.
Had a chance to get one last year when I actually had the money but decided to hold off on it since buying consoles day one is rarely a good idea imo. Regret that decision now though since quite a number of interesting titles like Wonderful 101 and SM3DW have come out this year yet I cannot afford one.
Current Playlist: Age of Calamity, Stardew Valley, ACNH
I simply find it too expensive for a box that only plays Nintendo first party games, I like some but not most of Nintendo first party games so not enough games to be worth ab uy for me
I can't afford it, and also at present I don't really have anyone to play with. For me consoles are social things. If I am playing on my own I prefer a handheld.
How is it hard to make another price drop for the system? Wasn't gamecube and Wii more affordable during their periods? Now I can't decide whether to get the Wii U around March and get Link Between Worlds instead or get it right now.
