@Megumi do you still play Smash (Wii U) online? If so how active are the servers?

I never go online in Smash, I just play alone with CPUs/AI.

I still miss Melee and early Brawl. I am finally ready to give up on Nintendo. They made Smash 4 look like one of those cheap Oriental ring in the water toys.
I recommend buying PS Battle Royal on your PS4, which is also where Sony is screwing up(because it doesn't exist along with Crash Bandicoot and every other IP they own or used to own).
I'm feeling a conspiracy; deep in my skin.

They still failed to explain DIing and PS Battle Royal did some things better. It's really a shame.

I Kinda Want More Characters Like Knuckles. He'd Be Pretty Good Fighter To Have Because He Can K.O Somebody By Just Doing 1 Smash Attack.

@OdnetninAges Nothing much of a big deal, I think. So an official page likes another bigger and related official page. Doesn't mean anything at all, but I guess the badlands that is called the internet will still freak out, anyway.

do you think nintendo could release a new super smash bros for the new nintendo switch ?

Is anyone here worried about online play in Smash Bros Wii U after Smash Bros for Switch comes out? I'm planning to get Switch late 2018, but I'm worried that Smash Bros Wii U would essentially be almost unplayable online once Smash Bros for Switch comes out (since most of the player base may migrate to Switch). What do you guys think?

I think the online servers for Wii U games will stay on for at least a year or two after the Switch comes out.

I personally can't see the servers being taken down anytime soon. If anything happens, people will just migrate to Switch, but I don't think the online for the Wii U version specifically would be shut down.

Wii's online was only shut down because it was run by GameSpy, right? Isn't this a different scenario?

I want to play a ZSS player or rosalina on the little Mac boxing stage my NNID is SSF1999 and the miis name is Tyler to help you identify my account. I'm permanently banned so can only communicate here or by smash profile and tags.

I play on for fun against strangers and about 70% of the time 3 people would work together to get me to be in 4th place. If was going to tie for 3rd against someone a player would purposely let someone else hit them just so I would be in 4th.

Yeah, For Fun has gone to crap recently. I've noticed that Team For Fun battles are still good, though. At least in my experience.

Has anyone else here been sentenced to Banland/For Glory Hell before? If so, can you provide an estimate as to how long I have left? I've been in for about one week.

You mean like rage quit, or cheating or something?, all I know is that the more you do something bad, the longer the you are blocked out.

@JTMnM - Yeah, I did on 3DS a while back.
Was stuck for about a week and it hasn't happened again since. If this is your first time sentenced, you should be "free" in another couple days at most.

@Undead_terror I think it happens whenever you are reported X amount of times.

@DreamyViridi I'm still bound and gagged. I actually joined Smash Ladder because of this and am immediately having a better time than I ever have on For Glory/Fun.

Oh yee, since I been interested in trying it out....ANY BOYS OR GIRLS...or attack helicopters, interested in having a tourney? I'd make one for the weekend, and of course, we can have a vote on rules and such, I'd just want to see how many are interested, not sure many play sm4sh on here any more really...or at least read this thread.

If it does well, we can make it a weekly thing or and probably do something a lil neat afterwards.

@OdnetninAges I had a scary incident on for fun when I was playing on the wrecking crew stage where a sonic player starts fighting me and this Ryu player and ignoring this other player not fighting anyone. Ryu KOs me midmatch and during the last 20 seconds of the match sonic uses his taunts and stops fighting all together. right after I KO Ryu in the last few seconds of the match he retaliates with a dash attack on me. Everyone was playing passive besides sonic who was the only player who started the fight. If he wasn't in it we would all be in the fight doing nothing. I sometimes play passive sometimes not. It was one of my passive games.
