What is the problem with Witch time? It is only local, isn't it? It just affect the fighter in front of Bayonetta, don't it?
How is the stage that comes with Bayonetta? I am not interested in new fighters since my friends and I have fixed fighters but we love new stages, of course. Do you recommend the new stage?
@Chandlero: I'm talking about in a competitive level.
If Bayonetta manages to get a Witch time on you if you are at 70% or more, you die because she has enough time to charge an Up Smash.
The other problem is how easy is to spam. I've seen people that use Witch time right after they missed, and it doesn't decay, so they still have enough time to charge an Up Smash to kill you.
This makes fighting Bayonetta really tedious. You might as well set the controls to all grabs and jumps.

Yes, except many moves keep their momentum and can disrupt witch time if you charge too long, and her smashes have very low priority so don't even land half the time. Learn to play against her instead of complaining, it's the same with any new character. Corrin's counter is considerably more OP.
@Chandlero: It has many songs, so it instantly makes it better than cheapskates SE and Capcom with their stages. It's also visually very nice, at least on Wii U and it is a great recreation of it in the original Bayonetta. It's not the most complex of stages though, a couple of platforms come and go occasionally and that's about all the change that happens.
@Plateface: Eshop and Wii Shop Channel maintenance this time. One of those situations where if now was a year ago we'd be completely convinced of a Nintendo Direct this week. Probably just 3DS stability update though
@Plateface: Of course I need to adapt and I know how it works.
Priority doesn't exist in this game mind you. All smash attacks clang and you can't get hit if the smash attack hits an aerial, but things like jab will simply get you screwed.
And it doesn't matter if the move keeps momentum (unless its fox illusion) because of the wide range of the smash attacks.
And Corrin's counter is better? You know, with Witch time if you get any attack, be a jab or something, you can Side Smash and then Down air to diagonally spike the opponent, There's no denying that Witch time is the best counter and its easy to get on (Frame 5)
@Gridatttack: almost any attack can cancel out her smashes, and quite often you need to do two smash attacks before they go anywhere during witch time as the first one doesn't land if they're mid attack.
I didn't say corrin's was better, just way more unfair. It hits all directions and amplifies even the smallest attack to ridiculous levels. At least witch time is integral to Bayo's character, it's pretty much necessary to land a smash attack.
Oh my goodness. I never knew Lucas got such a significant buff in the 1.1.3 update. He was one of my two Brawl mains and I was excited when he was announced as DLC but when he finally was released he didn't feel right for some reason. Now his grab is definitely quicker, and he overall just feels right. I'm WAY better with him now.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
