Topic: Super Smash Bros and Mayflash Adapter

Not sure if anyone knows the answer or not, but since the official adapter will only work for Smash bros now, I was wondering if the mayflash wii u adpaters would work with smash bros?
I don't have any pro controllers and hate the wii motes for smash bros.

Anyone know? I'm even debating about buying smash bros at this point since the announcement of the adapter only working with smash bros. I was buying this smash bros since I could use a gamecube controller. I have it and the adapter preordered. I am cancelling the adapter pre order.

So wait you are cancelling your preorder for the adapter but want to know about a third party adapter? You are not making sense if you want the adapter to play Smash Bros then why cancel it to get a third party one you are not sure works?

If you are like me and have a bunch of GC controllers the adapter will be cheaper in the long run over buying more pro controllers.

Well the third party adapter works on other games. The official one does not. I don't want to buy an adapter for just one game. That is foolish.

I feel like there are plans to make the Official Adapter work on more games, they just guarantee Smash currently

I guess I will just wait on the official product once it is done. I won't be buying it for one game. Maybe once they make it work for several games. But if the mayflash adapters work with smash, I may just pick up more of those since they work with wii u, wii and VC.

It will work the question is whether it will work exactly the same or not.

That's good to hear. I have been really impressed with the mayflash adapter so far.
