Haven't ordered Ratchet and Clank, and my names not Kyle! GAME just seem to be confusing people and their orders. Just hoping I get my copy of Star Fox and Star Fox Guard!
Calm down Kyle, I'm sure Game will get your game to you!
Nowadays I often order games via a particular site, and always 1 or 2 days before release. I also planned it this way for Starfox, but low and behold: The first print edition already seems sold out. Strange, since I had no trouble getting the Bayonetta 2 first print (or did I order it earlier at another shop, I am not sure). Well, I could wait till more first prints arrive (it can't be such a small batch, can it), or just order Starfox Zero and Guard seperately (or just download Guard from the e-shop). I'll see. My top priority is to get at least Starfox Zero on disc!

GAME seem to mess things up quite often. Use other sites! If you want to give your money to a company that actually pays taxes in the UK (i.e not Amazon), use either thegamecollection or graingergames

I fully agree that one should support smaller stores and not Amazon. However, in fact Amazon pays taxes in the UK and most other European countries since last year. (They probably still pay less taxes than others)
@Henmii: Although neither franchise is extremely popular, I think that Star Fox has more fans than Bayonetta. I don't think Bayonetta 2 managed to sell a million copies yet.. Not sure if there's going to be a second batch, as they are called ''first print edition''. If you really want one, look for other retailers that still have some. Although, from what I've seen, it's pretty much already sold out everywhere.
This is one of those times I'm highly interested in reviews I admit, despite their increasingly irrelevancy. Mostly because I want to see what people who actually really like Star Fox think. Specifically people who still appreciate it now, and not people who were impressed with it back in the day and consider it just ok now, because short shoot em ups don't qualify as great gaming anymore because reasons. I feel like people who still love Star Fox 64 like I do are the only ones who are gonna give me a real idea of if this game is really good or not.
@Chandlero: Star Fox 0/Guard Physical edition is exclusive to Official Nintendo Store and GAME. I'm buying the double pack because I want to play Guard on multiple consoles.
GAME's bad enough, but after the aggro I've had with the Nintendo Store in the past....
Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?
So how does everyone think this will review? Reviews go up tomorrow I believe. I'm guessing it'll average at about 7.5/10. I think the control issues will stop it getting higher than that. Like with Kid Iccarus, it sounds like some people just can't manage them.

Can you point me to some reliable info on this? I didn't hear about any changes in their situation so assumed there hadn't been any. I like to keep my money in the country that I have a social and democratic influence on.

According to VGChartz, it's just hit 1 million. And that's physical only. So if you include digital, it's definitely over 1 million.
Star Fox certainly has more fans on Nintendo. But the quality of the games will also matter. If Star Fox comes out to like 65% on metacritic, no way is it selling 1 million. Whereas if it's like 85%, it probably will.
Famitsu reviewed it. They gave it 35/40 (9/9/8/9). It may be perfectly reasonable to expect 85 on Metacritic.
Recently finished: Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Splatoon 3: Side Order, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD
Currently playing: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD
What's next: ?
@mjharper:
Cool stuff. There have been some claims that Famitsu take bribes though. Better wait for the 60 odd western outlets (only a few of which take bribes )
@Dezzy: Yeah, I don't know. As much as I like Famitsu, I think they're biased when it comes to Nintendo games. I'd wait for reviews from Western publications/media.
I think this game is going to review just great. Rare 10s, the occasional 9s, lots of 8s, and some 7s. Then obviously there will be lower scores because "Oh, the GP sucks! Therefore SFZ sucks!"
I personally think NLife is going to give it an 8, based on recent previews. Either way, I'm so hyped!!
@DarthNocturnal: Some people don't count it for some strange reason. They only count physical, I think it might be partly that Nintendo doesn't announce digital sales numbers.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Without Nintendo releasing digital sales numbers, people don't have another option but to exclude them. There are no good statistical methods so far for guessing the digital sales numbers.
The digital offer for SFZ and SG is very good. I guess, a lot of people will go digitally for the game.
Got a dispatch email from the Nintendo Store (UK) this morning, and according to parcel tracking it's in my area. Hopefully that means I'll be flying an Arwing or setting up cameras tomorrow (2 days before release).
@DefHalan: Well if Pikmin 3 managed it I give Star Fox every chance. They're around the same level in terms of fanbase size and appeal from what I can tell, and SFZ is coming out to a bigger install base. It took Pikmin a while so I would think SFZ will be the same, but I am confident like you are, and I think Nintendo would consider that to be a success.

Famitsu scores can't be translated to Metacritic scores in that way. Splatoon (81 on Metacritic) and Hyrule Warriors (76 on Metacritic) both got 9/9/9/9.
I would be more interested to read the 4 Famitsu reviewers' comments. Just numbers is nothing.
@Monkey_Balls: Maybe its because od my location, but my experience has been that stuff from the Nintendo UK store has never arrived any earlier than its release date.
XCX didn't even arrive until the Monday after!
Although you may be located in a better supported area.
