I preordered the First Print Edition and I am very hyped for the game! However, it seems the Standard version of Star Fox Zero and Guard together are less expensive than the First Print Edition. What does the Edition have in addition?

Thank you for pre-ordering Ratchet and Clank from GAME.co.uk.
Ratchet and Clank is released next week and to help everything go smoothly for you, we will be processing orders and starting to taking payment from today."
I then received this email after:
"Unfortunately earlier today you received an email from us containing incorrect information. We are really sorry about this, please see below the email you should have received.

With GAME's previous track record with Wii U Preorders, this is not encouraging....
So did you preorder Ratchet and Clank and this email got you concerned about Star Fox Zero or is it basically that the GAME site replaced Star Fox Zero preorders with Ratchet and Clank?

Steelbook Case and game disc for Guard.
I maybe wrong but isn't it just a box for Guard and you still have to download it? I see pre-orders for empty boxes of Guard that come with a code in them.
So does anyone know anything for certain about unlocking the Arwings without the amiibo? I found somewhere that the rumor is they can be unlocked by getting all of the medals in the game, but that's just a rumor, and even if it is true, I may still want the amiibo because I have never been able to get them all in SF 64 or 64 3D.
The First Print Edition in Europe contains the disc version. All other versions in Europe contain the download code.
@jariw. From what I have heard, we in Europe do not get SF Guard together with Zero other than in the First Print Edition (not even as a download code). It has to be bought separately.
@polarbear: it's actually confusing as hell, because supposedly it will be in standard edition but as download code and in first print it is on disc. Although retailers don't actually state that guard is in standard and it is sold separetadly. So who knows.
I suspect this game won't be highly regarded on metacritic - below 80, with cons being graphics, controls and game length being 2 up to 3 hours.
About game length there will be probably seven pesos pedro making bideo about how short it is and it could be popular topic on how Nintendo is doomed, since they charge 60 bucks for it.
@polarbear: @Dave24: There's three options (don't know about NA, this is for EU):
1. First Print Edition
2. Star Fox Zero
3. Star Fox Guard (download code)
Star Fox Zero is just Star Fox Zero, just that game on a disc. Guard will come to retail, but as a download code. It's a plastic box with a code inside essentially. The First Print Edition will contain both Star Fox Zero and Guard on disc. The First Print Edition is the only way to get Guard as a physical game on disc. This special edition also comes with a steelbook case, as you can see below.

Yawn. The new spangled game doesn't even hold a candle to the original SNES StarFox. Everything about it is bad, least of all the hybrid Arwing airplane. I won't be getting it ever...

I thought you've already made that point over the last few pages. Why do you keep repeating it?
You're not getting the game. We get it.
According to Bergsala (the Swedish Nintendo distributor) the Standard Edition will come with a demo version of Guard. Saves in the demo can be carried over to the full game.
Since hirobo2 doesn't have a Wii U or even Nintendo console since the Snes does it really matter if he's not buying SFZ, at this point it's more the norm for them to not buy a Star Fox game than to buy one.
I'm surprised how hyped I am for this game, guess I really feel starved for a space shooter game of this style. Been replaying both SF64 (the lack of customisable controls on the 3DS version is a real pain) and Assault (at least the on rails levels are good).
I am disappointed that the Arwing designs in Zero aren't like those in Assault; they looked cool. Also I was hoping for a better job seeing as the game was developed by people from Project Aces (actually now that I think about it, the failure to include an Arwing in Ace Combat 3D was a missed opportunity).
Haven't ordered Ratchet and Clank, and my names not Kyle! GAME just seem to be confusing people and their orders. Just hoping I get my copy of Star Fox and Star Fox Guard!
Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?
