I have no idea what's happening to Patrick there, but I'm scared.
@crimsontadpoles: He short-circuited, trying to understand what everyone was saying
Last game was on camp and right towards the end during who ever had rm's last push he chased them the long way instead of just cutting them off via the rope bridge.

Alright, so through the process of algebra, I think I figured it out...
camp = Camp Triggerfish
rm = Rainmaker
he = @crimsontadpoles
push = (?)
rope bridge = (?)
Engage auto-commas, substitute.
Result:
Last game was on Camp Triggerfish, and right towards the end, during who ever had (the) Rainmaker's last (?), @crimsontadpoles chased them the long way, instead of just cutting them off via the (?).
Alright, I think I get it, but where's the rope bridge? Is that the temporary pathway between the two decks halfway from the center to the base?

Yes, it must be that temporary pathway half way from the centre. I think the wall to climb up to the bridge only appears on Rain Maker, so I always forget about it.
Since I had an unforeseen change of plans, I'll be playing SZ in a few minutes. Just summon me if you want to squad up. I'll try to refresh the page on my phone more often between the matches.
@LztheQuack: Don't beat yourself up so much. Sure, the ranked modes are a bit more demanding, but you'll surely get the hang of it!
Private battles aren't that bad for practising, since you won't use rank points. But of course it's harder playing with all those experienced players. So if those matches should be going too fast for you, try ranked mode. It should match you with other ranked-newcomers, which should make it way easier to get into the different modes. Although that doesn't mean you can't also learn it with some of us in a squad or private battle. If you don't know the current map/mode combination yet, you can always click on "recon" in the lobby to check the current maps out (in their mode-specific version), without any teammates or enemies.
Otherwise, feel free to join me in a few minutes! If I should attract too high ranked players (that happened to me when I had a lower ranked and played with some S-ranked guys from here ), maybe my buddy DaGreen wants to squid up with you, he's B- so far.
Hey guys! I'm thinking of organizing a Splatoon tournament since the holidays are fast approaching. The details are still in blueprint, so I'll be releasing the details of the tournament as soon as they're finalized. If you want more information (still in blueprints, liable to change), you can go over to the Multiplayer Match Organization Thread: https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/wii-u/the_multiplayer_thre...
If you're interested in playing, you can @ me. If you have any questions or suggestions, you can email me at veeflames&outlook.com (replace the '&' with '@').
@LztheQuack: BTW you ironically mentioned being rank F soon... I always wondered if there's something lower than C-? Had thought about making a new account and trying it out, but it would be unfair to the other players so I didn't. @VeeFlamesNL: I can't say right now but I'll have a look at the other thread later.
My GOTY? Legend Of Zelda: Splat of the child. Ah no, I meant LoZ: Breath of the SPLATOOOON!
I had a match in Rainmaker earlier where it was Overtime and the Rainmaker holder was getting chased by someone on the opposing team from the back. A team mate and I super jumped over to the Rainmaker holder and we weren't able to splat the person, but we were able to distract him long enough so we would be able to take the lead. I was pretty nervous since the opposing team was at the spawn and it was on Hammerhead Bridge where you can get punished easily if you take the middle path.
