LOL... Figured I'd jump into one Turf War match before I turn off the Wii U, but upon starting the match I realized I was matched with... er, trolls (those players that spammed Booyah! and kept on going into squid form and out at the spawn point). Just went ahead to turn off the Wii U. What have I got to lose, anyway? XD
Okay. Can someone explain to me Moray Towers to me? Because ever since it was introduced, I've only ever won a match there when I was severely carried there. I don't play with rollers, and I suck with long range charge shots because I can't get the aim nor timing right with a control stick. And I've gone on a 10 losing streak on that map this evening and I'm just about ready to not play splatoon when that map's in the rotation. That and Hammerhead Bridge. Which ironically, are currently both in the rotation for the regular matches. So yeah. Having a terrible evening in splatoon involving many expletives without knowing how to fix it.

Last time we had a match together, you were using the Ttk Splattershot, so I assume you're still using that? When you said "I can't get the aim nor timing right with a control stick", does that mean you're not using motion controls? It's fine if you don't, but I noticed motion controls come in handy in stages like Moray Towers and Hammerhead, where there are a lot of vertical walls. It took me a while to get used to motion, but once I switched, I can't do it the other way now! XD
My advice for Moray using the Ttk Splattershot would be to keep distance away from foes, and use bombs if you're going towards to enemies base. I usually try to climb the opponnet's base with someone else, and that usually works well enough to get to the top of the tower using teamwork. If you get close to the top on your own, usually someone will super jump to you to help out. Also, always be careful when approaching the opponnets side if you take the wall with the ramp in the center of the stage. A lot of snipers like to camp there, and can see you coming. Sometimes hiding on the wall for a little while works, but your best bet is to take the long way and try to take them by surprise.
For Hammerhead, be careful if you're on the bridge itself. Inklings could be swimming up the wall at any moment, so unless your team is winning by a lot of turf, I wouldn't go over to the opponent's base. I like to jump off the bridge and take the narrow path on the side to the opponent's base; that usually catches the enemy by surprise.
But most important of all, don't give up! It's not you, it's just really bad luck. I've watched you play Splatoon on your Streams, and you do just fine. If you don't use motion, I'd recommend giving that a try. Good luck, and I hope my advice helps!

yeah I was shocked with the result of the Splatfest, thought the zombies would get up but the popularity vote was heaps closer then I imagined it would be! 24 sea snails for me
