Loving the game. Does anyone know if there is a limit on the amount of clothes, head gear, foot wear you can buy? I've been buying everything but so far, each day there is new stuff to buy. Just wondering if there is a limit to the amount you can buy?

There's no limit AFAIK. You can buy as much as you have money for.

You can only buy one version of each gear. (Sorry, I was a bit unclear about that in my reply above.) Once you have the gear, you have to go to Spyke to either add sub ability slots, or to roll back the existing sub abilities.

well technically you can order gear you already own from the players in inkopolis when you order them from spyke and he offers a reroll if you already own that piece. Depending on the gear its possibly cheaper than the 30k

The Japanese Splatoon twitter had some more pictures, although it's pretty known grounds for anyone who played the Single Player campaign.

So after tomorrow we're just waiting on one more map of those we know about which we'll likely get next weekend.I wonder if that will be it until August?Isn't there supposed to be another mode coming before then also?Maybe once we have the 9 maps and new mode they will increase the map rotation to 3,then every map will be in use across the modes.

The Splatoon Direct showed 9 additional stages (although only 4 were revealed with pictures) in addition to the 5 stages available day one. They also said that the content would release gradually. And there is actually one more "known" map, that was hinted at the very start of the Splatfest that also had been seen in a blurry screen shot before that. So it's not likely that the releases of stages will decrease soon.

And when new Ranked modes are added, that doesn't mean that there will be more maps available to play. Ranked Battles have their own map rotation and Regular Battles have theirs. But they will probably use 3-map rotations pretty soon. The Japanese Splatfest apparently used it.

According to the Direct, there are 2 more Ranked modes for this summer: Tower Control and Rain Maker.

Cheers man,that's even better.I haven't played shooters for years so I don't know if having 14 multiplayer maps is a lot but it seems plenty to me.Hopefully as well as increasing the map rotation to 3 they'll decrease the rotation time to 2 hours,4 hours is too much.

I just want to know if it's possible to buy ALL the headgear/clothes/foot ware etc. - due to my OCD of course . I guess time will tell.

Probably, it's adds another page on the gear selection when I filled the first page up but you can't buy the Octoling & Hero gear (unlock in solo) and the Amiibo exclusives.

The new Bluefin Depot map looks like a good blend of open and closed areas, and high and low platforms. From what I remember from the campaign version there were a couple of towers which, if still present in the MP version, will be good for charger guns (but not too good I hope). I'd like the Splat Zone version to have multiple zones, as it encourages more of the map to be used instead of just the centre.

In future maps I'd like to see some of the features from the campaign used, such as bridges made from a sequence of sponges, ink streams to swim along and moving platforms. Saltspray Oilrig has two lifts in the middle and Port Mackerel has the moving vehicles so we know that the MP game can handle dynamic maps to some extent.

Geez, what's with the difficulty spike on the final boss in single-player mode? I'd never even seen this game's Game Over screen until I fought this thing, and then I wound up seeing it five or six times before I finally managed to kill it.

My son should've too but he fell off the edge for no reason twice. That still doesn't make the final battle any less tense as I was watching and he needed to pause it about 70% of the way through just to catch his breath and relax for a few.
