After testing the Nozzlenose, I can say the weapon is kind of weird. It has great range and accuracy, but it lacks rapid fire, spread, and original damage. The weapon can one-shot, but only after applying damage buffs to it. I personally didn't like it that much.

I really think that all Splatoon needs to make guns like the Nozzlenose (weapons which favor accuracy over speed and spread) is a mode where accuracy is more favored. Maybe something, where you have limited ink to accomplish a set goal, or something around that area; so that precision can at least shine a bit more..

Yes, it can be a bit frustrating if you can't get a loadout to match how you want to play. But when the loadouts are balanced (which they mostly are) people are more likely to use a variety of weapons/abilities, which leads to more interesting battles.
If we could choose custom loadouts I fear we'd see too many offensive abilities (bombs, Kraken) and too few of the teamplay/interesting ones (Sprinkler, Echo Locator).

That's probably why weapons like the Splash-O-Matic are added, in order to add slight variations in weaponry and style.
Has anyone tried the "Last-Ditch Effort" ability? Do you feel that it give a noticeable boost during the last 30 seconds of Turf War? I tried it a few matches (without any sub abilities), but I didn't feel any big difference. But perhaps I just didn't try it long enough.

The ability boosts ink recovery rate while submerged by 20% and weapon ink efficiency by 15%. It's a good ability in turf war, but not for Ranked Battle.
@ELI-ASH Thanks for joining me lastnl night. I had joined @Ralizah and didn't realize it would be low ranks all night lol. At least it put us on opposite teams till that other level 20 showed up. When he showed up I was wondering which team he was going to. To my surprise we got on the same team and destroyed it lol. Good games, I enjoyed carrying a team like that. Btw, those paint rollers were clueless lol!

Thanks, so it doesn't affect things like movement speed, ink resistance or damage? Then I guess it's not an ability I need for my current setup.

Dog for me as well. I already have my subs unlocked for my shirt. Didn't like them so I re-rolled them and guess what......I got all strength!!! Normally I wouldn't want one strength but 3 now gives me 5 for my current load out. I wish I could keep this shirt lol. With the .52 deco I can splat most people with 2 shots now. Even with a bit of defense on them!
