@hinkuleez: Haha, I love how you utilize Splatoon in education. And I agree, it's my game of the year too and it really resonates with everyone who comes in touch with it!
I think I'm done for tonight as well, phone is at 1% so I wouldn't be able to stay updated with what's going on. Thanks for the matches though, they were really fun and had a lot of nice plays.
...After trying out the .52 and the .92, I actually kinda like them now.
I'm working on being able to use each special/sub efficiently, to enable easier playing of each weapon.
I've only just noticed a set of weapons lost amongst my collection that I hadn't even remembered were actual things. The Nozzlenoses and their newer counterparts. Apparently, one of them is good for RM, so I'll have to test them out.
@TheXReturns: I personally am really fond of the L-3 Nozzlenose D, it's my favourite of the 4. I've only use it in Turf Wars but you can charge the Kraken really quickly with that thing and it comes with Burst Bombs. I sometimes hear people say that the H-3 Nozzlenoses are considered the worst weapons in the game.

I occasionally fiddled around with the Nozzlenoses and the L-3 Nozzlenose D is also my favourite because of the stats (high range + firerate, no other weapon has this) and the sub/special are also decent. I also like the H-3 Nozzlenose because of Echolocator and Suction Bomb, but its low firerate (in combination to the way Nozzlenoses work) makes you really vulnerable, so I gave up on playing that weapon.

I think the biggest improvement from this update outside of the buffed abilities would be the matchmaking, I can finally do dozens of matches without having to be paired up with A+ or S+ players so my rank won't get decreased even more than it usually does lol. But seriously, I've been doing much better with the buffed abilities and I think they'll be my main set for the Octoshot since it's both stylish and functional.
I've come up with a game that we might want to try next time we play Splatoon minigames like H&S. I call it: Sniper Squid Survival! Basically, it's like this minigame from Mario Party:
Here are the rules in Splatoon terms:
Alpha Team: (Like Bowser in the minigame)
-Charger
-Charger
-Charger
-Charger
Can not use any gear with Recon!
And no Bamboozlers, since more than one shot is required for a splat. ...sorry Freeon-Leon
Bravo Team: (Like Yoshi and the others in the minigame)
-Weapon with Burst Bombs
-Weapon with Burst Bombs
-Weapon with Burst Bombs
-Weapon with Beacons
How to Win: Like the minigame, the Bravo team will hide in 10 burst bomb-made puddles (like the cauldrons), and each sniper on Team Alpha will get two shots to guess which puddles the Bravo squids are hiding in. (So snipers will get to shoot at 8 puddles total). If the snipers splat all of Team Bravo, then they win! And if Team Alpha doesn't splat all of Team Bravo, then Team Bravo wins.
Usable Stages:
-Walleye Warehouse (Place puddles around middle boxes.) [Snipers snipe on top of middle boxes]
-Mahi-Mahi Resort (Place puddles around the thin center platform.) [Snipers snipe on top of thin center platform]
-Bluein Depot (Place puddles around one of the middle areas.) [Snipers snipe on top of thin wall in the center area]
-Kelp Dome (Place puddles around center area.) [Snipers snipe on top center platform]
-Camp Triggerfish (Place puddles on the wood bridges.) [Snipers snipe on thin wall above bridges]
-Saltspray Rig (Place puddles around boxes in the back part of the stage.) [Snipers snipe on top of tallest box]
Rules:
-Team Alpha will wait at the base for 1 minute. While waiting, they must have their backs turned from the middle of the map, so they can't cheat and see which puddles Team Bravo are hiding in.
-The Mode will be set to RM, but of course, each team will ignore the RM.
-During the first minute while Team Alpha is waiting at their base, Team Bravo will set up 10 burst bomb puddles, with small gaps in between the puddles. Each "puddle" is just one burst bomb thrown directly at the ground. The burst bombs should make a circle around the center: No two puddles in one linear, vertical direction. This is so snipers don't accidentally snipe two puddles at once.
-The squid/kid with the beacons will set up 3 beacons off to the side. (So if a teammate gets splatted, they can super jump to a beacon, and be able to watch the snipers/support their teammates ASAP. No need to swim all the way back to the action!)
-Each Bravo kid/squid will then choose a puddle to hide in, and remain in there the entire time, until possibly being splatted. Moving between puddles is not allowed! However, more than one squid can be hiding in the same puddle. In fact, all the squids could hide in the same puddle if they wanted to! Though, that's not recommended.
-Once 1 minute is up, Team Alpha will make their way to the sniper position stated above. From there, the snipers will quickly decide the order of who snipes first, second, and so on. The first chosen sniper will climb up onto the sniper area to get a clear view of all the burst bomb puddles that Team Bravo are hiding in.
-The other snipers may walk over to the side to watch the current sniper snipe.
-The sniper on top of the sniping area will get 2 shots (so will pick 2 puddles to snipe at.)
If a squid/kid on Team Bravo is in the puddle sniped, they are to be splatted, even if one hits doesn't splat them. If multiple shots are required to splat a squid, the extra shot will not count towards the 2 shots each sniper gets.
Once the first sniper has finished, the other snipers will repeat the sniping steps.
Once all the snipers have gone, if any of Team Bravo is left, they will get out of the ink, and finish the match by getting a knockout with the RM.
If the snipers manage to splat all of Team Bravo, then they will bring the RM over to declare victory!
That's a lot of rules! XD Sorry it's a long read, but I wanted to make sure it was clearly explained! Feel free to ask questions or make suggestions! I'm hoping this will be fun like H&S; not as much fun I predict, but it wouldn't hurt to try it out!

I was at S 99, and my last match in SZ was super scary... I've never had a worse feeling then losing control with the countdown at 1... luckily though, my team got back in control first to win the match; but those 20 seconds or so when the zone was neutral, my heart was beating so fast! XD
@Blue_Blur congrats! On my way to S+ I got to 94 points then lost, got up to 96 then lost and got up to 99 and finally made it passed.
I always hate those matches where my team loses control at 1 point haha, those matches always get tense and losing them is the worst.
@yokokazuo: Thanks! I would've been so sad if I lost at S 96! XD Glad you managed to rank up, too! I had a really good win streak a few nights ago getting me from S 34 to S 75. Then tonight, I went from S 64 to S+; talk about lucky!
Also, I got the exact roll I wanted on my Cyan Trainers on the first try... today is my lucky day!

I guess two or more squids could hide in the same puddle, but I imagined it as one squid per puddle. If the team wants to chance it, they can if they want to! It would be funny if the whole team picks one puddle actually! XD I'll allow it. And good point about Recon! Forgot to mention that isn't allowed. I'll edit the post.
@Blue_Blur ah, nice! That's actually pretty similar to how I got into S+.
I guess that having more than one person in a spot wouldn't work well in their favour.
Also what if the shot hits someone/the ink they are in, but doesn't kill them?
