Well there really isn't any surprise there, the wii u is now pretty much a 1st party and indie game machine now, think very few would dispute that now, wouldn't be surprised if ubisoft was the next to announce they have no immediate plans for the console soon.
Ubisoft is probably still hurt from expecting 4 million sales of ZomiU on launch day. I appreciate their support of Wii U that they gave, but their expectations weren't realistic.
It's not coming to PS4 or Xbox One, either, as far as announcements go anyway.
Zombi U is actually in the top 10 best selling games of the Wii U. I really don't think they have any reason to be disappointed.
I also want to play Stick of Truth. Hoping it will suck so I won't have to find a way to play it.

Being in the top 10 of weak Wii U sales doesn't necessarily equate to success. They could very well be in the top 10 and still have lost a lot of money.
It's a last-gen game. Development probably started before the Wii U was launched. There's really no one to blame if it's not on the Wii U. Actually, I think it's smart NOT to port it, because it would likely have been a lazy, bug-filled, port, which would make the Wii U look worse to the public.

They have sold approximately 600,000 copy's to date. 500,000 before the price cut. This does not include digital sales. For a new i.p. this is considered successful.
That's the truth! I hate pulling out the xbox360 to play anything. The U is fun to play; the xbox just makes me angry.
Last time I brought out my 360 was to play Banjo-Kazooie and Dead Rising 2....BK was not worth it.

A new IP on just one, newly launched console, that managed a hardware tie ratio of around 1 in 8 for a niche genre.
Ubisoft are pretty stupid sometimes.

They arnt as dumb as you think. Ubisoft's strategy has been for awhile now a very simple idea, build franchises to recoup the costs of the first game. Most of the cost of games is in actually generating the idea for the game as it takes the longest and thus costs the most(lots of cost in man power), so Ubisofts system is to put a large amount of money in the first game in hopes of it taking off, then with sequels less is required because you already have the back bone of the first game to use,Assassins Creed is a perfect example.

It is pretty disappointing that this didn't come to Wii U, but I agree with what @micronean said. Likely the game just wasn't built for current-gen consoles, considering that it isn't on PS4/XB1. Guess I'll just have to get it for 360.
