Topic: October 1st Nintendo Direct Predictions

Since it's going to be an all 2013 Direct with no 2014 stuff:

PREDICTIONS

• 3DS and Wii U updates happen on release day of Pokemon X & Y
• New info on Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Country TF (including the 4th character), A Link Between Worlds, Mario Party Island Tour, Sonic Lost World, Mario & Sonic Winter Olympics, Wii Party U, and Wii Fit U.
• Japanese releases for games like Ducktales Remastered, Scribblenauts Unlimited, and LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins (the 3DS version of Lego City)
• Flipnote Studio 3D outside of Japan
• Simultaneous SMB3 VC release on 3DS and Wii U right after the Direct. (SMBUSA and SMB3 on Wii U VC for Japan)

HOPING

• Unified account system
• 3DS Miiverse
• Youtube 3DS app

Crazy prediction time but were going to see at least two new IP for both systems.

Is that four new games in total? Or one game per system? Or Two Games that will be released on both systems?

SO PUMPED! I just want a single decent surprise, anything will do, and I'll be happy.

how about something drastic, Zelda U reveal~? -now this is wishful thinking-

it'll focus on games launching later this year, so don't expect new IP's, Zelda U or whatever
don't get your hopes up

Super Mario 3D World Physical Promotion: If Nintendo were smart, they'd make sure 3D World launch players would get something at launch. Considering, some of us might have to wait in long lines, because the Xbox One releases on that day.

If Pokemon X/Y swallow the direct...I swear....

I think I'd almost confirm X and Y won't be in the direct at all.

I think so too but who knows. I still got to work all day so i cant watch

I don't think there's much in that. Three hours, we'll know what is and isn't in it.

We can be pretty sure though that the recent update will have something to do with it one way or another. Now that's a coincidence, major update and then a Direct just after it? I doubt the two are not connected.

i predict info on miiverse for 3DS. why?

I start to wonder if this direct teases a second major system update to come, as if today's update was just the first part of a major piece (this update is a large file on its own so it'd make sense if it's divided in parts). We haven't gotten that speed increase we were promised yet.

I agree. If Miiverse is supposed to come to 3DS towards the end of the month, today is the day to do a preview.
