Topic: Rayman Legends Unofficial thread

I'm getting this tomorrow.

Is there any information on how the costumes will work? Is the M&L costumes available from the get-go, or are they something you have to unlock?

The game looks amazing IMO. Must have for any platforming fan!

I must commend Rayman Legends for having the only YouTube as that I actually watch all the way through.

But in all seriousness, this game looks like it could be one of the finest 2D platformers of the last decade. People said the same thing about Origins, and it looks like Legends is even better.

@MrWalkieTalkie In my opinion, I don't think the music fit in with the trailer, but it doesn't matter. Still awesome nonetheless.

@Miss_Dark I played that demo, and loved every bit of it, and like @MrWalkieTalkie said, take a look at those reviews! Definitely going to be worth the money in my opinion.

@Miss_Dark I don't know about the Musical maps, but in total there will be 120 levels! Could be more probably.

I believe I recall hearing that there are 12 of the music stages in the game. Don't quote me on that, but i'm pretty sure that's what the review stated.

Seriously, I got this game yesterday, been playing it with my brother and it's AWESOME!

There seems to be 1 music level per world. Not sure how many worlds there are but I seemed to remember like 6 or maybe 7? Not sure. There might aswell be unlockable worlds. Anyhow, I haven't had this much fun playing a game in a while. I recommend buying it!

...and I'm just sitting here waiting until Tuesday...

@OfficialWavestaRag I can just imagine the PSBOX crowd lining up at the stores now ready to change their COD: Ghosts preorders just to get those grubby twin stick shooter claws on that hardcore Rayman dude... Sales will definitely shoot into the stratosphere, a couple of hundred at most

Question for people who have it: what do you have to do to transfer data from the challenge app? Does it just do it on it's own?

Yes it does, It still remembered my name and rankings etc.

as far as i can tell you it starts again from rank 0

I really hope it does...it'll give me a chance to climb the leaderboards again. I was relatively high for a while (within the overall top 1000) but after I stopped playing daily my overall rank plummeted

@ploxy yeah im pretty sure it doesnt carry over i was level 5 awesomeness on the app and had to start again. but long forgotten seems to think otherwise so maybe i missed something. also my wii u crashed the first time i tried to access the challenges so maybe it was something to do with that, but i dont think so.

Oh man, I really hope not. That would be a huge difference for my rank, and I worked hard for that. Well, then again, it would be kinda fun to claim the ranks again like @PloXyZeRO said.
One other question. Haven't heard anyone talk about the funky ray costume. Does it exist?
