Topic: Question about Wii Menu software

Is there any way to recover WiiWare/Wii Virtual Console software purchased on a Wii U you no longer own? I recently got a Wii U console again after selling my old one back in 2017. I was able to get my Nintendo Network ID transferred over the phone, but when I go to the Wii Shop Channel to redownload purchased software, nothing shows up.

@LzWinky However, I did read from Nintendo's official support pages that you can continue to redownload previously purchased Wii software. The Shop Channel's just closed to new purchases.

"Important: The Wii Shop is closed for new purchases. Previously purchased titles can still be re-downloaded. However, this option will also be discontinued at some point in the future. (Exact date TBD)"

@HobbitGamer Yes, I know. That's why I included the whole statement in my quote.

Got it worked out with Nintendo customer support. I can now re-download all the titles I had on the Wii Shop Channel.
