Dear Mods,

I know there is a Recommendations thread, but this question is so specific that it's unlikely to get much attention from people actually in a position to answer it usefully, so I kindly request that you allow this thread to run, please.

So to those that have played both titles on the Wii U, which game should I go for if I were to get only one, and why?

Thanks

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

If you have the money, why not spent it on something worth your money.

Seriously though, despite it being pretty mediocre, if you want to just play single player NG3 should be your choice. I don't need to have played the Wii U version of the games to know that.

@SuperWiiU: I thank you sincerely for your input, but your attitude towards Watch_Dogs, another game I suspect you may not have played, kinda tells me to look for a second opinion.

I specifically would like input from people that have played both games.

I have only been critical of the state of Watch_Dogs on WiiU, not the game itself. It is inferior to the other versions, that's not my opinion, but proven fact. NG3 on WiiU isn't that bad a version, just not that great a game on any platform(especially compared to the previous NG games). Devil's Third is a very weak (singleplayer) game, just read the NL reviews of both games and you'll know why you should buy NG3 if you must get one of those two.

@gcunit: I loved ninja gaiden three and it's super cheap these days. That is an example of the wiiu getting the best version of a multiplat. I will be playing devils third but live in North America so I have to wait a little longer.

PS3 and 360 did get the Razor's Edge version too a few months later. And it is very cheap, remaining stock is often being sold for less than 10 pounds.
