Is it really surprising?
If it's on Wii U, that would be pretty crazy, considering it already has 3 Mario platformers, in only a year and a half.
. 2 platformers and 1 dlc
It's not really DLC when you can get a standalone box version at Walmart
I consider them a singular game. NSLU is just an expansion of NSMBU, but....without the need of the original game.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
everyone who bought that over Wonderful 101 or Rayman Legends have my eternal hatred
Rayman Legends was never on my radar, but the Wonderful 101 I did get for my little brother. I haven't personally played the game as I'm still working on Super Mario 3D World and Pikmin 3 and I have yet to even start Wind Waker HD and Tropical Freeze. It's going to be a while probably.
a mario 64 type sequel would be sweet. i was thinking the other day it would be neat if they did the same kind of thing with peach's castle, but did it inside of bowsers castle, with more platforming and puzzles just to get through the hub world. would also be cool if the traditional mario power ups were used like in zelda/metroid, where once you find it you can always use it whenever, and then its actually useful to get past certain objectives and such. they'd have to bring in everything though, frog suits, hammer bros suits, penguin suits etc.

Would love to see something like this. Have Mario go into Bowser's castle and jump inside his collection of wall paintings.
I would keep the power caps though. They've only been used in that game, and Six Golden Coins I believe.
