Topic: My Nintendo 3DS Wii U Memories

Nintendo are doing a Memories thing to see your top played games on the Wii U and 3DS now that they are killing them off.

I had a look at mine and my top played Wii U game is Netflix by a long stretch (it would have been around the time Daredevil, House Of Cards and Stranger Things were big #backintheday) and on the 3DS it was Fire Emblem Awakening.

3DS:

Total Play Time: 2633 hours
Titles Played: 279
Most Played:
1) Fire Emblem Awakening - 264 hours
2) The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D - 180 hours
3) Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate - 154 hours
Favourite Genres: RPG, followed by Action and Adventure, with a hint towards strategy

Wii U:

Total Play Time: 1760 hours
Titles Played: 153
Most Played:
1) Hyrule Warriors - 219 hours
2) Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - 128 hours
3) Xenoblade Chronicles X - 97 hours
Favourite Genres: Action, with everything else being fairly balanced.

I have no doubt my total play times will increase. I know for a fact these figures don't include internet or miiverse.

3DS: Monster Hunter all of them around 8000~ might be more, Revelations 1000 something, Pokemon all of them 2000~ something also might be more. Don't have time to turn it on to check the real time but that's sounds about right. Ah Mario Kart 7 something around 200~.
Wii U: Mario Kart 8 around 300-500~, Bayonetta 1-2 something to 500~, Donkey Kong and Monster Hunter 3 around 200 something

For some reason my 3DS data isn't popping up on there? 🤔

The 3DS times may vary after this post as I still use the system along with my Switch. The Wii U stats are more concrete, though I occasionally boot it up as well.

3DS:

Total Titles Played: 107 (some of these may be demos, video apps, etc)

3. Disney Infinity 3.0: 138hrs

Thanks YouTube and Crunchyroll, you literally made Disney Infinity look like the only game I played, lol. I don't have cable in my house, so I watched a lot of streaming and YouTube videos.

Looking at my Wii U, decided to get some actual game numbers. Minecraft clocks in at 31:35hrs, played Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE for 41:07hrs, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed at 44:16, Mario Kart 8 at 44:34, Splatoon at 52:32hrs, Disney Infinity 3.0 clocked in at 138:37hrs, and the big one, Sonic Boom at 140:27hrs (unpopular opinion: I like the game).

@Luigi05 You're not the only one, I couldn't get 3DS data either.

Apparently, I don't have a NNID linked to my account in my settings, but do have another account linked when I go into sign in with my NNID. I wasn't expecting this to be such a hassle. I know that my most played games on my 3DS, that are 3DS games, are Federation Force, Mutant Mudds and Pokemon X in that order. If DS games are included in the memories, I think it would be Metroid Prime Hunters, Pokemon Black and then Federation Force.

With the Wii U, I don't really know for certain. Nintendo Land, Game & Wario, Super Mario Maker, Mario Kart 8 and Smash U probably are my most played games though.

How did you sum all the gameplay hours from 3DS and Wii U machine?
Also, since I have four 3DS XL machines with different gameplay hours, not to mentioned I played the same NDS games on each my 3DS XL machines.

Mine:

Animal Crossing, Mario Maker, Mario Kart, Advance Wars, Pokemon Shuffle and Streetpass. Sounds about right. The second tier of games seems a bit weird but. Smash Bros, Shovel Knight & Fast Racing Neo for Action makes sense. But Olli Olli and Yoshi's Woolly World are up there for platformers on Wii U? Surely DK and Rayman would've been higher. And there's no way Pokemon Red was my most played RPG on 3DS.... surely not...

Also I definitely played way more Splatoon than a lot of those titles on Wii U

@skywake I think the games they use to represent genres might be random as I had Team Kirby Clash as my top RPG which I played for a few mins and then deleted it whilst the various Level 5, Atlus, Fire Emblem and Pokemon RPGs I play have tons of hours against them.

One factor affecting the output people are getting will be your system settings. If you've set your system to not communicate with Nintendo, for example... to prevent forced updates, then I suspect this will stop Nintendo getting your play data. The output I got for my 3DS only accounted for about a quarter of my playtime.

Also kinda amusing that when I look at the games I played most on 3DS/Wii U and my most played games on Switch it's pretty much the same. I think the only difference is that I played Smash more than Mario Kart this time around and swap Shovel Knight for Hades. Probably also swap Pokemon Shuffle for Pokemon Unite

What i don't get is how nintendoland and smash are in category one and three but not in the top three (not that i played nintendoland that much...)

@NinChocolate That's for all the people that say that nobody bought Wii U or nobody played Wii U! I hate that because we are 13m people!

Can’t acces my numbers, but I know for a fact madden 13 is my most played. What I got a Wii U right when I started to get into football and kinda went crazy over madden.

Why it is not updating?, I am Playing Pokemon Ultra Moon this month and based on my 3DS Activity log, it shows in top 2 but not reflected in my 3ds memories.

Does anyone encounter this?
