Minecraft is just so... great. I really hope a sequel expands on the already incredible foundations and while its unlikely we'll see it on Nintendo/Sony console and I'm not going to buy an Xbox One just to play it I like Lumia phones so will hopefully get to play it
Why would you want a sequel for a base game that can just be updated constantly (which it is...) to further flesh it out and increase replayability and features?
Id like to see more than updates maybe an expanded reimagining of the minecraft world new ideas more depth to some aspects and for it to feel like a sequel with big improvements rather than some minor updates.
The wii u was made for minecraft that friendlist could finaly get used other than just having people you know added, Miiverse for all the screenshots and map shareing the wii u is almost like a xbox so they can just port the current xbox verison and adjust it. The gamepad could just display the inv. So you can quickly arrange it while you are useing the gamepad or classic/pro controler.
Ive been making dungeons or levels on my cousin's xbox verison of minecraft and its alot better than the pc verison I just want to do it on my wii u
Ya, and if Microsoft actually puts it on there, they might as well let you DVR it over SpotPass(where their servers are). Then everyone can laugh at people who decided to play it on Wii U, instead of the other systems.
I've never been interested in the Telltale games simply because it seems like they're more cinematic based than gameplay based. These are almost the antithesis of what Minecraft is supposed to be: unstructured, open, free gameplay. While they may good, I'm not sure how interested I could really be at this point.
Hopefully that's not all we get of minecraft. I liked console version of minecraft better (not full of thousands of mods.. lag), and having it on the wii u I wouldn't so much care for since the xbox is better with a headset.. but it would be a huge contributer to the wii u if the actual minecraft game with building came out.
I don't know much about telltale games, but cinematic experiences is the complete opposite of what minecraft it meant for. Could turn out good, or it could turn out as a mediocre interactive SFM video. I'll save judgement from when we actually do know something about the game, since all we got was a trailer which looks kinda less impressive than some SFM minecraft videos I've seen on youtube.
