Who cares if it uses anti-gravity or not? It's one of the best courses in the series and the fact it has yet to return as a retro track is just goofy.
Certainly it fits more than Sherbert Land does, and has more potential with the new mechanic.
This time around, they're remaking Toad's Turnpike, Royal Raceway, Yoshi Canyon, and Rainbow Road, which IMO, is a list of four of the eight best tracks in Mario Kart 64. Also notable is that they haven't redone Wario Stadium, yet, which is probably in my top 3 for MK64. I'd say they're doing a "saving the best for last" kinda thing with the more fan favorite games in the series.
@Rosalina Mario Kart has always been one of the hardest games to watch weaker players play. I don't know why, it just is.
Wi-Fi Game List:
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Splatoon
Super Smash Bros. Wii U & 3DS + All DLC
Mario Kart 8 + All DLC
Mario Golf: World Tour + All DLC
Mario Kart 7
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
They don't need to release a demo. I mean, everyone's going to buy it regardless! If they did, it would be similar to the Mario Kart DS demo, which offered one track, 1 character and maybe 2 player. Otherwise, there'd be no need to buy the game!
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
Year long marketing makes sense seeing as the game will sell a few systems but is coming out after tax season. By going with a year long marketing campaign they'll probably be able to keep the game in the public eye though DLC and than double back with a strong holiday line up spear headed by Smash/Kart.
WAT!

I want to say yes, since two of three flagship Wii U games have DLC offerings. Plus Mario Golf has DLC and we didn't find out about that until a week before it releases . Taking into account that we still know nothing about MK8's online component its possible. Mario Kart 8 is also the perfect game for DLC when you take into account Kart games are one per consoles and the next Mario Kart is probably 3-5 years off.
WAT!
