They give us almost every character what was in mk history and almost 12 new! Why then the complaint ? Even if because we dont know everything about the chRacters, maybe there 20 unlockable characters who knows, if 4 characters are not in it why its terrible ? Why ? We dont see birdo? Maybe shea unlockable? Even kingboo, petey, drybones? I dont understand and a game like this doesnt deserve to get bad commenta even before we all played it and all jnlocked everything !

It makes your speed a little bit faster and you take them with you at the end of the race to unlock parts or characters
Well, the unlocking part is only in Mario Kart 7 up to this point. We don't know the uses of coins outside of the race track in Mario Kart 8.

4 floors with an arena in the middle along with 12 players online. This stage was ahead of it's time and it would've been perfect for Mario Kart 8. All the fun that could've been possible.
Ok, Double Deck was fun too. And probably a better fit for Mario Kart 8. But in their original games, SNES Battle Course 2 takes the cake. It also had some awesome music.

I've been listening to some of the music and Grumble Volcano sounds very similar to the Wii version. Though I hear minor differences, like that one bit from 0:24. It sounds a bit different to me.

I already own 3 of the 4 games being offered for FREE. Looks like i'm going with Wii Party U (as long as the digital version counts toward the promotion, which i'm guessing it does.)
I'm in the same boat. Kind of a slap in teh face for those who have already purchased all of these games. I guess its Wii U party for me.
It seems one of the biggest complaints is the roster, but if it turns out Diddy, Boo etc are unlockable it shouldn't be a problem. I'd rather unlock a cool character like Diddy then Metal Peach.

What I'm implying is that there was nothing to unlock in those games but seeing as karts come in separate parts there is something to use the coins on.
Does this remind anyone of SSX? Specifically SSX3?
