I don't understand the logic of not releasing a finished product. At least put it on the eShop to help recoup some of the development costs.
We don't need it. If it were say another Rayman, I'd agree with you. It's not. It's some shovelware that they've created and thankfullly won't unleash unto the masses.

This sounds to share a bit in style with We Dare, another Ubisoft title.
I wouldn't expect this to be a big hit based on the description, but I also wouldn't straight out dismiss it as shovelware. How do you define shovelware anyway?
I would dismiss. Their FINAL effort for the Wii U is some party game that the Wii U has in spades. Some are half baked ideas others are great and still more are poorly executed attempts at "party" games. The description alone is not something I'd buy to play with my friends. The last hurrah until the next gen is "Know your friends". I will give Ubisoft credit that they held out hope this long for the Wii U while the rest abandoned it but still, such a title as the last one. It's like some pathetic cop out.

Urgh more freakin shovelware. Ubisoft is right, the only way that game can sell well is if the WiiU had a huge enough install base, that way there will be enough idiots to buy that crap.
No. This is not Just dance. This is a half-@$$ed data collection unit disguised as a "party game". I'm not one to say there are games that shouldn't exist but I'm honestly glad that this game isn't on the market. It's like someone at Ubisoft actually has a freakin' concience or something...you don't see that often with big corporations...

I have absolutely no interest in this game but it's most likely better than Meme Run, The Letter, various Flappy Birds clones and other crap littering the eShop. Multiple Minecraft clones are on the way, too.
Know Your Friends is a casual game, a genre that tends to sell well on Nintendo platforms (example, Just Dance 2014 and 2015 sold nearly 1 million copies combined on the Wii U).
That sounds 'meh' when you look at the install base of what? 6 or 7 million currently? That also affects whether or not Wii U also gets Just dance 2016 IF it's in development right now.

Sounds more like that game wasn't released cause there is no audience for it, not because the Wii U hasn't sold enough lol
I think one causes the other, no mindless section mass audience leads to a lack of sales for poor casual games (i.e. big install base plus grandma getting games for her grandkids when she knows nothing about games leads to sales of Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge).
Rimmer: "Look, I think we've all got something to bring to this conversation, but I think that from now on the thing you should bring is silence."
Homer: "Oh people can come up with statistics to prove anything Kent. Forfty percent of all people know that."

Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge was released!!!! I got to get that.
There is truth to what you said, more truth than what Ubisoft said lol
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Uh...you're using sales numbers from over a year ago...the Wii U has an install base of around 10 million now.
