Topic: If i want to play with my GF

Just bought a wii u. I want to be able to play the mario games that it comes with with my GF as well as othrr multiplayer titles. Can i use the gamepad and my gf use the wii wand and nunchucks? Or do i need ti use the wii wand and nun chucks as well

If you are speaking of New Super Mario Bro's U , you both need Wiimotes for some dumb reason. Everything else you should be able to do Gamepad and w/e.

I believe its Mario u. It comes with the wii u im actually on my way home from bestbuy with my new wii u any games u guys recommend?

Super Mario 3D World, Wind Waker HD, Pikmin 3, Nintendoland, Rayman Legends, SSR: Transformed, NFS: Most Wanted U, ZombiU, Tekken TT2, Injustice, Game & Wario, Lego Marvel Superheroes, Skylanders Swap Force, Disney Infinity. All these are good for both playing together and/or watching each other. There are others (my wife and I play lots of CoD Zombies/Extraction together, for instance), but all these should serve your purpose well, with respect to taste.

On the eshop:
Trine 2: DC, D&D: Shadow over Mystara, NES Remix, Toki Tori 2 +, Edge, Nano Assault Neo, Zen Pinball 2/Star Wars Pinball, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Bit Trip Runner 2, Castlestorm, etc.

Trine 2, D&D, Nano Assault, and Castlestorm are excellent for co-op. The latter (Nano and CS) use separate screens for each player, which is great. Some of these eshop games might still be on sale, too.
