Forgot to ask them though, does the game come with a code if you pre-order from GameStop? (you know, for the costumes?)

The GameStop preorder comes with the OoT costumes.

But do you get the code when you get the game? Email? lol

From my experience with Gamestop it will be printed on your receipt.

Alright, guess I'll just call them next week, they didn't even bring it up so I figured they forgot. xD

After the DLC season pass announcement, I decided to canceled my Hyrule Warriors pre-order. Since it's Koei Tecmo, there's a high chance that they'll release Hyrule Warriors expansion next year featuring all the DLC on the disc the same they did with Dynasty Warriors 8 and Warriors Orochi 3

Sounds like they set themselves up for a horrible first month of sales as i am saving for smash 3ds that comes out a week later

I am not sure if Nintendo will want them to do that, but I guess we will see.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Remember, Nintendo is guilty of this too with Ultimate NES Remix. Still, we will see.

ummm no. thats on 3ds. the famicom remix disk is the same thing digital users receive. if they do release a disk it will be japanese only. this isn't a sony of microsoft platform. i doubt ninty will pay for a reprint.

The spin-offs have never had a reprint with all the DLC included as far as I know. Only the main dynasty warriors series I think

I don't care for the free DLC and the DLC packs ,what I want is already in the game.A lso don't like that we alraedy know that we're getting DLC even if the game isn't out yet worldwide. It should have been delayed to include everything on disc.

You can't delay a game to add DLC. The fact that it isn't out worldwide should not matter, they concluded the final stages of development in August ofc by now you know about all the DLC. It wouldn't be different for any other game.

Then the development time should have been longer to include everything on disc.

So your idea is to delay the game, to add more content to it so then they need to charge $80 instead of $60 on the game? I like the idea of optional DLC being separate than the game that I can get for a very low price.

Exactly, that's my idea. For me the things that HW is giving as DLC shoudn't have been optional but already in the game from the start.I would have gladly payed 80$ to get all those characters and gameplay modes from the get-go.

Ultimate NES Remix isn't identical to NES Remix 1+2 though, it has less content (16 games instead of 23+).

I like dlc, I don't like incomplete game experiences. This game seems great in its default form.

I just got a code emailed from game for the twilight princess costumes. I've yet to play the game though, so I'll be checking out the game itself first when I get home

There's people who will wait a year to pay $20 less?

I know that, but what if your country don't have Club Nintendo? No Club = No Ganon

Bergsala runs a similar campaign for HW pre-orders in the Scandinavian countries. NL covered that in an article.

Ganon isn't included in that. Only Zelda, Link, etc. I wrote and asked Bergsala and they said no.

Is the pre-order DLC (Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time costumes) available in the eShop version of the game (PAL region) or only on retail? I'm hesistant to buy the game because I couldn't find a way to pre-order the eShop download version and I want the full game as a download.

Sorry if this has been asked before. Thread is too long.

Unless the preorder DLC is included in the paid DLC then not yet.

The store I usually order from in Sweden hasn't got any deliveries of Hyrule Warriors. One other web shop had the status "first shipment sold out. Next delivery in week 42". I called Bergsala about that and they said that there had been an enormous pressure on this game and that they have shipped out every copy they have. I don't understand how they can have misjudged the supply-and-demand that much on release day.

Perhaps people are simply buying it a lot? I know I can't wait to get home to start playing

Nah, it's because Nintendo has so little exposure in Scandinavia. It's all about Xbox or Playstation here. Nintendo is a niche thing few people care people about...
