Yeah sorry about that xP no problem anyway

Information on the next major update should be here soon shouldn't it? This is one reason why I want to support this game more than anything, its cool to see a Dev who supports a game with awesome content

The review pretty much confirmed the fears I developed about this game when watching Nintendo Treehouse gameplay of it. You're running around murdering vast swarms of enemies who pose almost no threat and won't even be able to attack you unless you play very amateurishly. I was hoping it would at least have high production values, but it sounds like the game failed in that respect as well.

My hype has died off as well. I think I might wait on this As I don't feel I really need it. I have it pre-ordered but I'm going to think hard about it. Maybe my money will go to Bayo instead.

I really got the impression that the reviewer didn't touch a difficulty above normal, because any other Warriors game I've played is pretty merciless on higher settings. You're still cutting down swathes of enemies, but precision and timing becomes so crucial that it's almost like playing a rhythm game. One wrong move and you're toast.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

I'm guessing Damo never played on a difficulty higher than normal as you can't get away with that playstyle on the harder difficulties.

That's the thing guys I play a game on normal and play through it then usually never play it again for years. If the normal difficulty isn't there then they should've made it a bit harder. I rarely ever turn up the difficulty in my games as normal has been ok for me for 35 years now.

Well for this game/series I'd say skip normal and go harder from the get go.

Odd, the review and videos and description confirmed my hype for this game. The negatives listed seem more taste than anything, for the most part, and the criticism towards the gameplay seems void in terms of options available.

Then again, I like some rocky zelda tunes hahaha

There certainly is some difference in opinion across the gaming review community with this. Metacritic has a range of reviews from 40 to 90 percent. I think it all comes down to if you like Dynasty Warriors.

Never played Dynasty Warriors games, so I'm willing to give it a go.

Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?

I'm getting the sense that perhaps the Dynasty Warriors franchise as a whole just isn't for me, based off these replies.

I'll give it a go when prices drop. I still like the Legend of Zelda surface elements and the music, if nothing else.

This site gave it a 7 but another gave it an 8.5 with some of the same complaints. Chances are I'll enjoy it, though the gamepad slowdown seems a bit annoying

The little that I played at E3 made me very excited. I haven't read the review but a 7 feels a little low. The E3 demo was solid and had a lot to offer. All the other modes, characters, and weapons would just add to the experience. If you dislike the Dynasty Warriors series then you probably won't enjoy this game too much, but if you haven't played Dynasty Warriors or just have little experience with the series then I would recommend at least giving it a try... I think this game needed a Demo more than Smash lol

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Offspring

People expecting "good" reviews were being naive. I have never played a warriors game before but judging by reviews of other games, it was obvious Hyrule Warriors would be getting plenty of mixed reviews. Even though my hype has fallen into the basement due to the small roster, I will still be getting the game on the 26th.

Hahah I'm gonna laugh like crazy if this game ends up getting reviewed HIGHER than Destiny...

Oh wow. I saw this post and thought, "This guy is crazy. Destiny is the game PS4/Xbox One fans have been slobbering over like a dog in heat, there's no way it's going to score lower than Hyrule Warriors." Then I went to Metacritic: 76!!!!??? Holy crap, that might almost be possible for Hyrule Warriors to score higher! Oh course it won't sell better (remember the slobber...) but I sure hope someone is trolling Neogaf about this like how Sony fans trolled Nintendo sites about ZombiU's "horrible" 77, lol.

Hyrule Warriors is going to have a low 70 meta score at best.

So far my guess was fairly spot on.

I don't think they played it on hard or higher. It would be bad press if we watched the Treehouse get slaughtered when they were playing. Button mashing only gets you through the low difficulties and even that depends on the stage difficulty.
