Took me about 15 hours to complete it. I think it was worth every penny
I think that's a good length and longer then I thought it would be. The way I'll play I'll add another 2 to 5 hours as I take my time and try to do everything on the first play through.

I'm at 101% after ca. 20 hours.
But I will replay it on the unlocked hard mode (in 2p co-op), because you need at least two playthroughs to unlock all costumes.
And I'm fine with that. It's just as fun the second time around. It's harder, but now I have support by a brandew Wii U Pro Controller and a friend.
Truly one of the best games on the eShop. Great port by Broken Rules. I hope they still bring Secrets of Raetikon to Wii U.
93% on Forest del Chivo and I can't figure out what I'm missing. Gotten every single chest which is supposed to be available (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=214940561)
Ok, so I beat this game yesterday but I'm only at 74ish% My question is how do I get the purple blocks? Is that power tied into the special orb like circles that there is six of? That's the only thing I can think of as those seem to be holding me up from a lot of %

Try using the egg bombs or whatever they're called. You can use them when you're a pollo loco, I think you've got to press "A".

You should look for areas that are kinda blurry on the map, you'll find most of the treasures there.
Edit: I'm sorry, I hadn't checked the guide. Hmmm, have you gone trough that narrow space that's near the entrance of Pueblucho?

Wow I never knew that or wasn't paying attention.

Ok so I didn't have the egg bomb after all. I do however have it now. Finally, on to 101% I haven't felt the need to 100% a game in a long time but I just really like this game.

I still can't get myself to like this game and buy it on my Wii U yet I always read positive things about it. I have it and tried it on Steam but using a keyboard.
I hope they put a demo on the eShop so I'll know how it feels on the TV/couch/controller. I do enjoy FPSes/RTSes on monitor+kb+mouse and platformers on the TV+controllers.

I've played quite a few eshop games over the last 6 to 7 years and I'll say this now, Guacamelee is the best of them all!! Don't get me wrong, there is other excellent games but what Guacamelee does it does right and it is plenty long for the price as well. I personally think this is better in many ways to a 2d Metroid. If Nintendo handed over the 2d Metroid franchise over to them to make a 3ds game I would be overwhelmed with joy. They did so many things right with this game!
Of course though not every game is for everyone but this is I believe the highest rated eshop game for a Nintendo system for a very good reason!
Thanks @Spoony_Tech. I'll add this on my wish list again then. I'm not paying it for a full price though as I already have it on Steam. I will wait for a tempting sale.

I picked it up like 2 weeks ago when it was on sale. 10$ was a steal as I've said I would gladly pay double the full price for the experience I went through!

Hey, I can't get the Intenso ability to work right. Pressing Down on both analog sticks never works. I can rarely get it to activate by pressing them UP but only after several attempts if at all. Any tips? At least it's not a required ability outside of the first time right after you learn it.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
Well, how did the game expect me to figure that out when all they give me is a visual button display with down arrows, while the manual is an absolute piece of c***?! (It sure would've been nice to know that I could break the piñatas for silver pieces before I figured it out at the piñata shop and passed up on two or three of them in the forest.) Thanks for the help.
One more question, now: What's the QR code in the dead world's version of the chicken thief's hiding spot for? Does it have something to do with the quest to catch the chicken thief (which I can't otherwise figure out how to do)? Is it just a holdover from the PC release, or does the Wii U have some way to use it?

think you get the chicken thief later, as you come back to that area a few times.
the qr code is an easteregg. not needed for the game. scan it with a qr reader if you wanna find out.
Does anyone happen to have a Humble Bundle code for this game that they aren't wanting and/or needing?
