Topic: Best Ways Nintendo can Recapture the Casual Market

I don't know if there is already a thread like this and if there is I am sorry.

I was just thinking to myself that everyone keeps saying that Nintendo wants to be the family friendly brand, but that they will never be able to recapture the casual market like they did with the Wii. I know Nintendo Will probably never put a true Pokemon game on the Wii U but why not put a Pokemon game similar to Disney Infinity or Skylanders on the Wii U? Both of those games seemed to sell well and I feel like Pokemon could be a big hit as a game like that since their characters are recognizable and there is a show about it. Also why doesn't Nintendo put more Pokemon seasons on the Wii U eshop and advertise that like the Xbox One is doing with their Halo show?

These are just my ideas. What do you guys think or is there anything else Nintendo could do to recapture the causal market?

Edit: Just remembered there was Pokemon Rumble U but I think that was eshop only. I was thinking this should be a full retail game.

Master Ball would be the best way to capture the market

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Nintendo didn't 'recapture' the casual market with the Wii. They practically helped invent it. Those hundreds of thousands of people who bought a Wii for one game then never used it again aren't going to buy any home console again, let alone a Wii U. Nintendo doesn't have a problem with the casual market, it's the more 'hardcore' gaming market that they're forever turning their back on.

I remember reading in an interview that the Pokemon figures in Pokemon Rumble U will be used in future games as well, so a Skylanders-like game is still possible. But perhaps it has something to do with Pokken.
