Anyone have issues with Gamepad intermittently disconnecting? It just started a couple days ago, but there have been several times where the gamepad loses connection to the system mid game. At first I would get an error code on the Wii U, but now I don't, so I don't think it is a system issue but may be a gamepad issue. Just wanted to check here to see if anyone had an issue before calling Nintendo.

Pretty much me from Day 1 of owning the console. It seems to become less common the more I use my Wii U, and the further away I get, but that happens to almost all of my electronics in my house. Have you installed/bought anything that sends out a wireless signal recently? That could be contributing to your problems.

That's strange, I only get that when the gamepad is far away from the console. It also rarely happens when theres a large obstruction in the way.

yeah it is giving the error like I am too far away but I am literally sitting in front of the tv. Happens more in Mario 3d world than any other game

Sorry I can't help you out D: You should call Nintendo, maybe it's your tv sensor bar or the sensor on the gamepad. I hope it gets fixed soon

it could be Electromagnetic interference, the place I'll move to has so much that I get connection errors on local multiplayer(3DS) by playing 1-2m away from the other players(I know it's interference because it only happens there, nowhere else) might be the case with your WiiU you might be in a bad place with too many wireless things around(or unexplainable interference some places have it)

I've had that happen about 20 ft, or so, away. Or, if I leave it alone... for long enough. The only other idea I might add, is you might be accidentally pressing the TV button.

Also does this if someone (including maybe yourself) puts their body between the Wii U and GamePad. Water kills the 5Ghz signal and your body is made of it. Same with metal, if you have a cabinet that's made of metal make sure the Wii U isn't too deep into the cabinet. If you're sure it's neither of these things contact Nintendo's support.
