But in all honesty, are there any promising looking exclusive third party games for the Wii U? They don't have to be big names, they can even be Japan-exclusive, but what looks promising that isn't being Developed or Published by Nintendo at all?

Fatal Frame V looks amazing.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

Captain_Toad

Call of duty black ops 2.
Mass effect 3.
Batman arkham city and origins (play city first)
Any of the EA sports games before they cut support (skip espn sports connection)
ZombiiU
Rayman Legends
Tekken Tag Tournament
Darksiders 2
Need for speed most wanted
Injustice Gods among us
Monster 3 ultimate
Pacman and the ghostly adventures
Any of the LEGO games
Deus Ex Human revolution Director's cut
Any of the Just Dance games
Any Skylanders games
Splinter cell blacklist
Any angry birds games (if you can find em for cheap)
Zumba Fitness World Party.

That should help.

Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

Devils third looks like it'll be fun, especially in online multiplayer. Bayonetta 2 as well

TBH I care more about Warner Bros than EA, Ubisoft etc, there's still Lego Batman 3 & Scribblenauts Unmasked (in the uk) coming which are must buys for me but I will miss new Injustice & Batman Arkham. I'm still annoyed about no Zatanna on the Wii U tho!

Both published by Nintendo.

Doubled checked and I guess Fatal Frame V is being published by Nintendo too. Makes sense, as they own the IP.

If you're talking about new titles, the answer so far is NONE. We will only be getting Nintendo games at least until mid 2015. If you want to play 3rd party games, I suggest you get the PS4 or a PC.

I like Affordable Space Adventures. Other games like Hive Jump will be on PC, but exclusive on Wii U consolewise.

For Wii U third party games, indies are the best bet.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

There are no stupid questions, except for the ones that are. This isn't a stupid question, though. To answer it, none that I'm aware of, but I haven't been actively following the third party Wii U exclusives. If you like 3rd party games, it's best to get a Nintendo console second, and a PS4/PC/Xbone first.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

I'll add that my question includes games that will also be released on PC or 3DS, so third party Nintendo console exclusives.

Does it really matter? Would it make a difference if Bayonetta 2 was published by Sega, rather than Nintendo? I don't care who publishes the game, as long as they're good games, and as long as I'll enjoy them. Even if Nintendo published every single game on the system themselves, and if they succeeded in representing all genres, I'd be completely fine with that.

I don't get how almost everyone forgets the indies, to me they are more relevant than some of the big publishers.

Heh, it's promising enough to at least to notice that it's there. It's good enough. And also it's 3ds counterpart.

Lol, I don't think a single one of those is an exclusive!
