Newbie here. I have a games room where my wii u is. Now the signal doesn't reach my front room so I can only play in that room. If I bought another wii u base could I use the wii u control with that one as well in my front room so I have two bases and one control pad.

@Mabser I think it helps if you specify your problem in the title of the thread.

But yes, in theory that should be possible, if you're willing to go through the trouble of syncing your GamePad every time you move between rooms. Keep in mind that your save data and downloads will only be tied to one system. So you effectively own two separate Wii Us. So in that case, you may as well buy a complete Wii U with a second GamePad.

The "base" is the system, it does all the work, the controller is just a screen with buttons.

The controller only shows what the system tells it to show, and you can't have one controller work simultaneously with two different systems, each controller can only connect with one wiiu system at a time.

If you were to get another WiiU, it would be a stand alone system, completely separate from the one in your room. That means they won't share any of the same save data or digital games.
