Hopefully you realized that before you got to the tutorial part where Cloud tells you that you need to go to a real-life store and buy one.
(though technically that was still applicable if you played the PSN release on PSP, you wouldn't be able to even play the game if you didn't already a card )
I recently bought a japanese import of a gameboy advance game heres a hint it never came to usa in the classic nes series?
Let me just go through the list. I got a 1/20 chance of being right. (I think that's right, 30 retail Japanese games + 2 rare prize games, compared to 12 in US/EU)
Adventure Island, Balloon Fight, Clu Clu Land, Super Robot Wars 2 (HA! I really doubt you bought this, it's an extremely rare prize game I hear), Dig Dug, Shin Onigaeshima, Famicom Detective Club Part 1 or 2, Ganbare Goemon, Kid Icarus, Mobile Suit Gundam Hot Scramble (also super rare prize game, don't know if it's more of less rare that the super rare gold Famicom version), Ghosts 'n Goblins, Mappy, Murasame Castle, SD Gundam Scramble Wars, Star Soldier, Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels, TwinBee, Wrecking Crew.
I'll guess one of the popular exclusives: Lost Levels?
WaveBoy, if it were me I'd keep it in storage. Though that's probably why I have so many games. Something I want to play, may not want to now but don't want to have to worry about buying again later.
I just won an online action for a couple of Sega Genesis games. World of Illusion, Sonic, Sonic 2 and Decap Attack all CIB with manuals all for 15 dollars. Will post pics when I get them here in a few days.

@WaveBoy: Yeah I remember playing Decap Attack at my friends house and renting it a few times from a local video store. Been wanting this one for awhile and bundled with those other games at that price it was too good to pass up.
Speaking of FF 9, I still need to play that too. Been tempted to download it on my PSTV.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.

So yesterday I received my newest SNES repro cart: Human Entertainment's take on the firefighting genre The Firemen. This decision was partly made on a whim when I found out about Hamster released Jaleco's The Ignition Factor on the Nintendo Wii U Virtual Console, and since I heard many good things about it I wanted to see for myself if it really was good. It is, from what I played, and is quite involving and fun. It's too bad it was never released in America officially, but at least Europeans were fortunate enough to play it outside Japan at the time. This is the third SNES repro cart I've ever purchased this year, after Magical Pop'n (my second), and after Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof (my first).
@StarBoy91: Funny, i just happened to d/L the ROM of The Firemen the other day to check it out, as the game definitely looks interesting. Haven't tried it out yet, but i am curious to hear your thoughts on the game!
Gunman's Proof has also on my short list of repro carts to pick up for a while now (after NL's resident sexy beast @ogo79 tipped me off to the game )
I've seen youtube videos of people using the Game Gear TV tuner (now that it's useless for actually watching TV) to play newer consoles on it. Video quality is bad so you can't make out Metroid Prime 3, Halo, or whatever they're playing. I wonder if the user could either.
@WaveSpooky:
no i havent ever tried decap attacks stepchild game lol.
also i like gimmick and splatterhouse wg. splatterhouse wg is quite a short game.

Final Fantasy 1 on Wonderswan Color...
of course the power button broke just hours before it came in the mail. Guess I'll stick with the NES version for now.
I got a WSC years ago. I hadn't used it for awhile but it worked fine before that. Then I take it out and try to play it and it decides to not start or to power off after a short time.
Think I got a small but good collection (2 rare? mono games Klonoa and Ghosts 'n Goblins, Star Hearts, Mingle Magnet, and all the Square remakes)

I looked it up before and it appears the problem is most likely that the paint on the power button 'melted' onto the bottom and can be fixed with constructive paint. I opened the console and had a look and their didn't seem to be anything wrong with the buttons, but what do I know? Either way, I don't feel like it's worth the hassle at the moment to give it a try.
On the other hand, I do have the original WS as well and I agree it's a good (and surprisingly cheep) collector's item. If it wasn't for pokemon, I would say it's better than the Game Boy Color.
