So, i was going to hold off for a while before heading back to the retro shop, but since i needed a Master System case for my copy of Ys (got the case for free cuz i'm awesome), i figured i'd swing on by ... so that means it's ShpydarhaulTM time!
Sailor Moon R (SuperFamicom) - i know very little about Sailor Moon except that if she and her crew existed in real life, i would totally be Chris Hansen'd all the way to prison forever. The game itself is a very good beat 'em up that makes me feel funny, like when we used to climb the ropes in gym class.
.
Bionic Commando (NES) - if you've played it, you know how awesome of a game it is. It also personally holds just about the highest level of Christmas-nostalgia possible for me (tied with, or just right behind, Pitfall II).
Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat (NES) - if you are a regular listener/viewer of Pat's CU Podcast, then you know why i had to grab this game.
.
Sega Master System Control Stick - grabbed this just because. Interesting how it is oriented opposite to ususal sticks - even though i'm right-handed, it ironically feels weird (for comparison, remenmber the NES Advantage has the stick in the left-hand position). Seems like they were going for more of an Atari-era joystick configuration.
.
Donkey Kong (Atari 2600) (CIB) - i already have a couple copies of this game, but i gladly grabbed this CIB copy, especially since the box is in near-mint condition.
.
And finally, because you know my plans for world domination:
E.T. (Atari 2600) - another loose cart copy; the dude threw in a little E.T. figurine that he had for free. In the future, when my E.T. Castle reigns over the planet, the Morlocks will worship the little figurine as a god.
Sailor Moon R (SuperFamicom) - i know very little about Sailor Moon except that if she and her crew existed in real life, i would totally be Chris Hansen'd all the way to prison forever. The game itself is a very good beat 'em up that makes me feel funny, like when we used to climb the ropes in gym class.
thats a good beat em up as you know. i dont remember much about gym class but i always made an F because i didnt participate. coaches told me to run. i felt they should go run if it meant that much to them. i wonder if they are still running. hopefully they got a car by now

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
Is Sailor Moon R any better than the Sailer Moon (no letter) beat-em-up, because I played a bit of the latter and it seemed pretty average. (the one that was oddly released only in Japan, and France. )
@CanisWolfred I don't know if you know Dawn of Mana (PS2) but is this good or bad?
Oh my god, don't get me started. It's probably the worst Mana game there is, and that's saying something. The environments are linear, the combat is rediculously shallow, there's all kinds of crap related to the equipment, the Panic system makes already tedious battles even more tedious, the Havoc Engine was fairly buggy IIRC, it was easy to get stuck...the game's just a mess. Avoid it like the plague.

Hum. I suspected it. If that's the worst game of the Seiken Densetsu series, I'll don't buy it. Thank you for having warned me.
Just hit a small jackpot over on Ebay! Puts me even close to completing the entire Tiger Game.com library!!!!!! (Even if it is a crappy handheld there are only 20 games so why the hell not!??!?!?!?)
In the top right handish corner you can see something (if you know the Game.com that is....) that you don't see every day.... WHEEL OF FOUTURE 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The rarest game on the Com, I've only seen a small handful (like three) pop up on the web, I never thought I'd actually get it so I'm super excited! There are a few other rare ones in there (Centipede and Sonic Jam most notably) Already have a copy of Duke Nukem 3D, the Internet Cart (got the 1st one with my system actually!), Fighters Megamix, RE2, and Lights Out. Overall I'm very very pleased, 7 more Game.com games to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Formally Square-enixFan, Neo-GeoFan. A lover of fine games and handheld systems!!!!!!!!!! The New 3DS XL is amazing, soon the NX will be upon us! Backloggery Check my Youtube channel out! http://www.youtube.com/user/Ha...
So on Tuesday I got two games from eBay: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back from the Sewers for the Game Boy and QuackShot starring Donald Duck for the Genesis (for which these Sega carts I play on my RetroGen). Was curious about them both for awhile, but I eventually decided to bite the bullet and give them a go: and both are really good, imo.
@the_shpydar

Just received a refurbished Gameboy. Unfortunately it has what looks like two black splodges (technical term) on the screen - which is also squint
Will be opening it up tomorrow to try and fix it... This May end badly
Just got another Sega Master System first version not the Master System II as my other one is acting up sometimes doesn't turn on.... could be simple fix but best to have a backup.
Bought Pin*Bot for the NES. I don't have a NES, so I just bought it for display to add to my pinball nick-nacks. (Don't have a real pinball machine... yet...) It's in extremely nice condition, the price sticker peeled right off with no problems, and there was some gunk on one corner that wiped right off. Once I do end up getting a NES, I'll have something to play on it, too!
