^ SNES Home Alone? Me and my cousins played it. I don't think it's awful personally, but I do consider it boring and blandly average, mindlessly easy (what with the dumb enemy AI), and way too short for its own good. Still, if you think this game was bad, you should try Home Alone 2: Lost in New York; I hear it's a hundred times worse
The MMPR beat-em-up seemed average but not terrible. Very Natsume. Feels very similar to Ninja Warriors, which is a game that has really spiked I think.
Home Alone 2 is pretty bad and I couldn't stand to finish it even with CENSORED. But the Tick and Rocky & Bullwinkle will stand as my choices for worst SNES license games I ever rented back in the day.
In Home Alone 2, I didn't know you could use a sliding attack (and I had rented it with the manual), which is actually needed to beat the first boss.
I'm not sure... is Home Alone one of those western license games that's more expensive in Japan than in the US (I think the Tom & Jerry games are)? Heh, ogo will probably look up the most expensive region variants for his Rare Downloads program.
Although I think only the SNES version of Home Alone got released in Japan. It looks like the NES version is way worse. Hard to imagine that was the first game Bethesda made.

i want an award of some sort for figuring out you meant mighty morphin power rangers, for my troubles

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
3-D World Runner (NES) - This is an incredibly fun game that we used to play for hours back in the day. An early Squaresoft title, with the greatest music ever.
Mystical Ninja starring Goemon (N64) - I used to rent this frequently back in college (yay being asssitant manager at a video store and free rentals), and loved the insanely "japanese-y"-ness of it (especially when playing it at 4:20 ). Finally pounced on grabbing a copy.
SSX Tricky (Gamecube) (CIB) - I used to have this game, but i traded it in years ago. Glad to nab it again, cuz 'tis awesome.
And because no visit to the retro shop is complete without it:
E.T. (Atari 2600) x 2 - And the march towards World Domination continues!
(also, notice that one of the carts has a 1986 copyright on it as opposed to the typical 1982 copyright - they were still printing new copies of the game after liquidating thousands!)
@CanisWolfred
SSX Tricky is leaps and bounds better than SSX3. I had that one too, but it bored me to tears. Tricky is tremendously fun, but they somehow completely screwed the pooch with SSX3 and removed all the elements that made Tricky so much fun to play.

Good to know! Might look for a copy...though I'm severely running out of space for GCN games.
Also, I noticed Goemon's been going down a bit in price. After I had to shut down my Paypal account (Got scared that it was hacked, but it wasn't. Long story...).
For no real reason, the two FF7 spinoff games (if I'm right, they never ported Before Crisis to any localizable format, let alone actually localized it?)
And two obscure Japanese Game Boy games, Cave Noire complete and Primitive Princess loose. (I guess, took a chance on an ebay listing with no picture from a US seller, kind of odd for an import game)
I went to a retro game shop in town a few days a go, I bought two games for a total of £4. One was Realsports Boxing for Atari 2600, it's amazing how they managed to do this on the given hardware as it has a character select and some good graphics (i.e. the boxers look like humans), very impressive. However the other thing I got was a portable version of one of my favorite N64 games; Turok Rage Wars on Gameboy Colour. It swaps the fun arena style shooing antics for a dull beat-em-up with a long list of problems and would fit perfectly in an AVGN episode, thoroughly disappointing.
Skiing (Atari 2600, blue label variant) - As many of you may recall, i had been amassing a full set of all the Activision 2600 games, including all variants (well, the North American releases anyway), but the blue-label variant of Skiing is especially elusive and hard to find. Finally was able to nab a copy as part of a small lot of games (all the rest of which i have already).
So, FINALLY, my Activision 2600 collection is complete! Huzzah!

What is an estate sale? I've seen a few around, but I was like "I don't think I want an estate, what with the property taxes these days". Did the games come with it or something?

An estate sale is when someone dies and the family is selling their belongings. A living estate sale is when someone is still living and decides to sell off majority of their possessions.

It is a game that seemed pretty average when I... tried it out... but I ordered a cart of Psycho Dream for the Super Famicom (even though a year or two ago I probably could've gotten it CIB for the same price ).
I read about the guy that traded in 203 copies of Night Trap to a store and I see shpyder has fallen behind in collecting the most copies of a single crappy game.
